Site Supporter HomerJay Posted June 13, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted June 13, 2013 Not Barclays. Fucking rubbish. Natwest for me. Although we managed to change relationship manager about 4 times in 2 years.
jules_darby
HSBC were alright until we went international. This world bank stuff is bollocks - their Yank lot are absolutely terrible. Marple White works for a well known bank doing corporate stuff...try him
NorthernStr
If it's a UK business, I have been with Santander for 2 years with no problems.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 14, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted June 14, 2013 If it's a UK business, I have been with Santander for 2 years with no problems. Same- free banking for my first 12 months. Presumably still offering something similar
Big E
I was with natwest but there constant changing of manager annoyed me. Now with HSBC and no complaints so far
Gonk
Can she not just launder it through your account?
Traf
Can she not just launder it through your account? Money laundering is illegal, don't you know? An imprisonable offence, apparently.

Andydee
With Natwest since starting up. Managers change on a regular basis but doesn't bother me as I've rarely had need to either speak to them or visit a branch. Telephone banking has always sorted when issues have arisen (ie when online went tits up). I like their online and phone apps which do everything I need. Select the most appropriate account as they have different charging after the initial free period, which I think is 2 years, depending whether you need to use a branch for cash/cheques or whether you can run online/telephone. I opened the account that offered the most for new business startups then changed after the free period to reduce charges
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted June 14, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted June 14, 2013 We were with Natwest, ok but nothing special - as previously stated, keep changing relationship manager. Now with Barclays - please read previous sentence again
Zulu
NatWest me - and two years free banking on new business accounts. Bish, bash, bosh!
Boby Brno
I've been with Santader for 5 years after a nightmare with Barclays. Good customer service and low charges. I've been offered free banking by others but its usually only temporary. Free postage for cheques which saves me time and money.
