Spoke to a copper whos son plays for the kids team I run who is always on duty at Bolton games, he said the police are pissed off with clearing up the mess made by our stewards and that there might be a conversation with BWFC about the stewards in the near future.

I think they underestimate how many off duty cops go to games.

Had a few verbals with one at the Huddersfield match.

As usual when the gates in the north stand opened I made my way round to ESL to meet up with the Shark and the Dog.

As I tried to walk back into the stadium a Muppet in orange put his hand on my chest and told me I couldn't go in . Told him I was a season ticket holder. He still blocked my way.

Pushed past him , told him no way he could stop me.

As I went up the steps he was on the radio for back up. Some of them are OK.But a lot are frustrated bullys who just want a reason to kick off

Youth Cup match last night.  Massive crowd of about 400 scattered around half of the West Lower. All quiet & peaceful.

 

So a steward comes up 15 steps or so to tell a guy behind me that he can't use his camera till half-time. I coudn't see a tripod or giant telescopic lens, so I assume it was a pocket camera. WTF is that all about ?

I know that my nephew brought home a letter from the school saying that no cameras were allowed into the school for his nativity play. I guess because there are some prevents about, it means that nobody can film or photograph. Sad really.

I imagine loads of the lads had their families in the stand.
