True but I certainly won't be demanding the sacking of one or two stewards based on the aftermath of an event.

What's the alleged offence?

My assumption would be that, judging by the flag in his hand and the amount of people knocking about outside, he's been one of the last to leave their end. Now whether he's been pratting about and saying he's not going home or whatever, I don't know, but had he committed any sort of offence then I'm sure they'd have had to call the coppers over rather than rough him up a bit then let him just walk away.

Had a good chat with some BTP after the Stoke match when we got relegated, basically the wanted to know, given I've travelled all over, whilst they let me smook on train... Who's the worst coppers I'd experienced? GMP all the way, says I.

 

They agreed whole heartedly, getting very excited about it!! They basically said, GMP wind the fans up, treat them like shit, then push them onto BTP & wipe their hands & they've got to deal with the aftermath. No love lost there.

had a similar conversation myself when we went there top guys the stoke police,they know how to talk to fans and calm a situation down,most others and them steward wankers just go out of their way provoke people.
