jules_darby
How anybody who went to bayern remembers anything about the game is beyond me.Gumbo was adamant the next day that Gardner scored the Vaz Te goal in Guimares
Arnold Jackson
Sadly I have to say Ronaldo's debut for Man U as second half substitute at Old Trafford ... came onto the park during a close game that we we losing 1-0 and completely destroyed us with every touch! It was chaos!
HazzyinBolton
Saw it on DVD afterwards. I was convinced Jussi played until I saw the team in the paper the day after On paper We had a very average team out that night - Cid, Michalik, McCann, o'Brien, Braaten, Guthrie etc . COYW
Ian Wright when he scored his record breaking goal for Arsenal against us at Highbury. We even took the lead but we lost 4-1 and he looked like he was going to score every time he got the ball. George Best for Fulham against us at Burnden. We won 2-1 and he scored for them. He looked a class above anyone else on the pitch.

SatanGreavsie
I remember Steve Perryman, ex-Spurs, playing for Brentford when we were at theirs in the late 80s. Not only was he too good for us, he was too good for them!
