I wouldn't bother searching for any logic. Three of those he signed started and, in some cases, finished on the bench on Saturday. That included Davies. If he isn't fit, he shouldn't be on the bench, so we can only assume that Dougie prefers the 'lazy' N'Gog, to the bloke he signed.

Beckford has at least shown he can find the net recently and won the free kick for saturday's goal.

Ngog should be replaced by Craig Davies (if fit) or one of the kids next game. I'm sick of the sight of him.

See this is where our opinions differ.

 

I'd much rather have Ngog alongside Beckford than Davies, if we're playing 2 up top. Sure he's having a bad run, but aren't the whole team? When confidence is running high and we win a few games Ngog will start to be a threat again, probably opening the door for Beckford to score goals.

 

Of course, some people can only see "striker hardly scores" and think they shouldn't be near the team. SKD was a terrible player for us, wasn't he...
