It's becoming a habit this. It'll be the Socialist Worker next - mark my words! :-)

I do indulge in an occasional sneaky peek for a laugh. I find the style of prose, language and terminology hasn't changed since the 70's. They also politicise the most innocent of things.

As usual, it booted off recently between Trappist-1-f and Trappist-1-h in the Dwarfsun's Paint Trophy game. 1-h took liberties in a boozer near the tidally-locked zone and called in a result via sub-space radio; they regretted it not long after though. Pissing sulphuric acid for a week after that they were.

Bad news for Trappist-1-f in the end unfortunately; their famous giant killing win (literally - Trappist-1-h lads are 100 ft tall and made of beryllium) was marred when their reserve keeper got filmed eating an arachnid from Trappist-1-b in direct violation of both the Trappist league betting rules, and Trappist-1-b's human rights act. Trappist-1-b's ambassador launched a formal complaint, but then they ate the cunt. Recently elected Trappist-1-c president Donald Trap used this as a chance to energise his pledge to build a Dyson Sphere round Trappist-1-b. "It's going to be a beautiful sphere...and they'll pay for it". When  it was pointed out that building such a sphere would not make  much difference to 1-b but would fuck 1-c as no light would reach it, and so they'd all be screwed, he called it "fake news". And then ate the reporter.

Are you a Scientologist by any chance?

He's wiser than that.

I'm intrigued by a beryllium life form though.

Has NASA never heard of Troy? The sneaky green bastards!

there's an asteroid shaped like a massive spliff floating around in the solar system that come from another system

nasa's official description is "cigar", but they mean spliff

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That could be anything. NASA could put up a close up picture of a cream cracker and say its the surface of planet Ace Ventura.

Its an artists impression, so it could well be "anything".

Resembles a piece of coal for me.

Something out of NB's toy box

I'd say I'm fairly open minded but just can't fathom how anyone in this day and age believes the Earth is flat.

I had a 'debate' with a fully paid up member of the flat earth society the other week in the pub, absolutely fckin bonkers he was! My gast was that flabbered by the end I even left without paying my tab!!

We are all living in a Truman Show world. Don't believe anything you are being told.

Antares is very visible tonight...

Lad has just been reading about preon stars and planck stars.

New, theoretical jobs, that make neutron stars seem like feathers.

Something for Kent to get his head round.

Karl Froch - the massive intellectual giant - is convinced.

Anybody else got one eye on Betelgeuse?

Possible - although very unlikely supernova.

We can hope though!

Fuckin ell just been talking to my little lad about it. We’ve made his bedroom in to a little space den. Loves it all.

Betelgeuse isn’t his favourite massive star so he’s not arsed. He’s more of a KY Scuti fan :D

You mean UY Scuti? Was that a Freudian slip? 😁

That's awesome - how old is your lad?

Can you imagine how mad it would be to actually see a supernova? They've detected gravitational waves at LIGO as well coming from that area.

It'll probably go off on Jan 31st at midnight for Brexit! 😂😂😂
