You do realise itโ€™s a huge cover up and that there are already several hundred humans there colonising the planet?

Our ecological timebomb is at 11.59pm and they are laying the groundwork for a privileged few to go and live there.

It would be more feasible for humans to live on the seabed in the southern ocean, round the corner from the Ross Ice Shelf.

Mars colonisation is promoted by the likes of Bezos and Musk so we can fuck up this place acquiring then dumping/burning plastic unneeded tiddly-made ephemeral crap bought off them and shipped here in boats responsible for 97.6% of global warming.

Musk, however, has took so many designer drugs he now believes his own lies.

Thereโ€™s a BWFC bar just opened in Benidorm. Lots of patio furniture, older blokes looking for a scrap and Fosters..

Its a coincidence, of course.

I thought they'd gradually been outcompeted, and interbredย with other more successful humans.

Perhaps it fucked up the GPS satellite system and flights were grounded.ย

Yellowstone park will get us all dreckly.ย  Deadlier than your average volcanoย

No, that's Bury you're thinking of

The Rover is going to drill samples for another Rover to collect... I would love to be the second Rover, could you imagine to be sent off to Mars to pick up some samples? Bloody brilliant.

Also why is it going to take weeks to get the drone working? The bloody sky is full of them onย Boxing Day

Some of that sound is reminiscent of blowing across the top of a bottle. Wonder if the wind is passing over the microphone.ย

After yesterday's nasa discussion, I was a bit surprised to hear the higher pitch sounds; I thought it would be a lower pitch noise.

Looks 'cloudy' too, wonder if it's ever sunny?

Sounds like the Clangers are on Mars too

Breaking news!! NASA have just realised their mistake in hiring an intern to oversee the drill samples idea and are hastily having to re-programme that upcoming landerย

Supervolcano?

Sounds like a Man vs. Food challenge.

Extinction by Supervolcano.

If you were going to put money on what wipes us out first, Yellowstone Park is odds on.

Its 20,000 years overdue an explosion and when they happen properly, life only survives at a microbe level.

A massive meteor would be preferable.

The Yellowstone thing is utter bollocks.ย Volcanoes don't erupt on a cyclic timescale, and Yellowstone is most likely dead anyway.

Based on previous eruptions, which is all it was, youโ€™d say it was likely.

For what itโ€™s worth, weโ€™ll kill ourselves without the help of Mother Earth.

But by fuck, youโ€™d still be arguing with everyone as the brimstone was raining on your head

I'm not arguing with you, you cock. Just pointing out some widely-believed nonsense you're spouting.

How many research articles/documents have you read about Yellowstone?

As amazing as it is, that footage isn't from Perserverance. It was taken by Curiosityย a year ago. Perseverance hasn't moved yet, so there is no reason there would beย tyre tracks behindย it. The audio isn't "real" either.

Although it makes it even more exciting to see what footage Perseverance sends back.
