Carlos Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 ITK Fact, you don't sack people this week. We aren't going up, there is no rush. Losing to Boro would be the final straw. Quote
COYW Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 As for lee Clarke give me a break maybe league 1 manager but he's shown he can't handle championship. Steve Clarke. Former WBA manager. Quote

mickbrown Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 are you deliberately dense you and others chuck examples of how changing managers has been successful as tho its dead easy to get shut, get another and be successful the fact of the matter is that most clubs who sack managers don't achieve the success they are looking for they than sack another one and another But you seem quite happy to stick with this fella for the sake of stability. He offers nowt else. Nowt. No sign of any ability in the transfer market, bugger all sign if bringing through the youth and seeming cock all in terms of tactics. Why wouldn't you get shut? Quote
Carlos Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Surely it's best to give the next man a weekly rolling contract? Fucking pointless giving them anything more. Quote

Why wouldn't you get shut? i'm generally happy with his signings which of our young uns should be playing? i won't keep him for the sake of 'stability' i'd keep him cos i think he knows his stuff, he built something at palace ona small budget while developing young players i don't expect a bloke to do that in 12 fcuking months Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 err look who are secondIf Derby finish in top 3 then this division is a lot worse than I thought. I bet you thought McClaren was great for England too. Quote
Casino Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 err look who are second so what has he done and what similarities are there between what maclaren inherited and what coyle left ffs, you never tired of telling us how much of a cock coyle was and how the players were all shite why the fcuk do you think that can be turned around in 12 months shouting at a few pisscans to run faster so they win on a sunday is nowt like managing highly paid pros - you do get that, don't you don't you? COYW Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 What exactly is he trying to turn around? We finished 7th last season. This season should have been about pushing on, not starting all over again. Quote

Not at all, just a better manager than freedman and clough, the derby board also saw this hence why they did something about it. Freedman like clough would never get promoted whereas someone decent can Quote
Casino Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 yesterdays team had 4 players who started against hull at the reebok last season that team was made up of players all on premier league contracts we now have a team made up mostly of players nobody else wants i don't agree that this season was just a continuation of what had gone before Quote

If he's picking players that 'nobody else wants', that's his choice. If was able to get the best out of them last season, he should be able to do the same this season. Your quite right with the above comments, Dougies made a dogs dinner of it this season he's alienated most of this squad with his dropping and chopping and changing, and it shows when they pull on the jersey, I've got the right hump with Freedman he's really fucking me off at the moment, think I've too much spare thinking time on my hands. RUREADY2ROLL Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) I don't believe we played well in our 'good run' last season - we were very lucky in many of the games. Our fans have not been entertained at home matches due to very strange tactics and the position we find ourselves in is all down to DF and the so called superb tactician LL I understand why some people say give him longer but IMO it is not going to help; we will just deteriorate further Edited December 30, 2013 by RUREADY2ROLL Quote
Casino Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Bogdan, Ricketts, Knight, Dawson, Alonso, Davies, Spearing, Pratley, Lee, Sordell, Ngog 4 of the back 5 are injured or have left mark davies is just back sordell has gone and ngog is ngog Quote
Casino Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I don't believe we played well in our 'good run' last season - we were very lucky in many of the games. how many of those games did you see? i saw 95% of them and we were good enough to win plenty which is all that matters the 3 on here that watch us at least as much as anybody else all posted that we played our part in a good game at the top of the league yesterday so what is it that we want 'playing shit' and winning or playing well and losing you can't hit the manager for winning playing badly than chuck the toys out of the pram if we 'play well' and lose Quote

He brought in players to replace Ricketts and Alonso and it was his choice to let Sordell leave on loan. He knew the likes of Davies and Holden were going to be out long term. He's had plenty of time to find a temporary replacement. He tried and failed with Butterfield. This is now his mess. Quote
Sweep Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 F and the so called superb tactician LL Is LL really supposed to be a good tactician? - if he has any influence over recent events, then I would certainly be doubting that he has any great deal of tactical nouse at all Quote
