roybarker Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Totally agree with Horwich-we had 3 chances and put all three in for once-shame about the other end Quote
captainmed Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 There is little or no togetherness IMO.That was perfectly clear with the "group huddle" before the Leicester game - it wasn't one. The effort without the ball isn't there, just watch CYL for their first goal. DF makes it up as he goes along and he's so in-consistent with what he says or is trying to say. Football isn't a difficult game, he tries to over complicate it. His man management skills too appear non existent. We were on the deck yesterday and Leicester were far fitter having played the same 11 on Boxing Day. Either lack of fitness or lack of effort - possibly both. The score-line flattered us, they were by far the better team throughout. I thought my son was taking the piss when he read out what DF said after the game re not being able to keep a clean sheet, so lets attack them. Of all the games to do this FFS - why not try this at home? He's being caught out week after week and he's clearly out of his depth at this level. The season has gone, we are 18th, worse than last season and worse than when he came 14 months ago - we're going backwards. We were 2nd favs for promotion at the start of the season FFS. I personally feel he's lost the players, what other reason can there be when we clearly have a talented squad? How how the fuck the majority appear to be sticking with him has amazed me, especially with the home form being even worse. Quote
mourinho Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 again, my memory isn't the best, which ones isn't he playing craig davies and? I think I answered this in my other post, but you can also add Medo, and Hall into this, as they've spent more time on bench than on the pitch Quote

I'm interested to know at what point you think he lost the players given the way we ended last season and the way we have performed for most of this season. Maybe close season eh. We have to stick with him now and let him have the rest of the season there's no one out there who could come in and do any better. The players themselves could do an awful lot better their all to a man performing below their best. Quote

I've stated that I would give DF 6 games into next season unless it gets worse and we look like he's taking us down(not unrealistic he might) but what is this bollocks that no one could come in and d better I've never heard such fucking utter rubbish, I think it would be nigh on impossible to find someone to do worse he's fucking clueless at present, repeat clueless. COYW Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I'd even back Jimmy Phillips and Sammy Lee to do a better job at the moment. Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Read the thread.Yer right read through 21 pages to find managers names who are either in work and won't come or been sacked because they failed at their previous club. I'll give that a miss thanks. So Philip's and Sammy Lee been there, no thanks. So names. Quote
WhitePrice Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) I'm all for giving Dougie some more time but don't give me that no-one could do better, bollocks I could name six average Joe's off the street that could match the results lately. Juminho could do no fucking worse. Edited December 30, 2013 by WhitePrice Quote
Carlos Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 He named Holloway and (Steve) Clarke earlier. Quote

frank_spencer Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 A 'Rent-a-quote bumpkin cunt' who in his last three seasons in the Championship has reached three play-off finals and won two of them. All that doesn't stop him being a cunt though. Quote

EyesRight Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 All that doesn't stop him being a cunt though. I think we need a cunt as a manager, not like Holloway but someone old school like Warnock. I think our squad may have the talent but not the right attitude. I'm happy to give Dougie until the first few games of next season and then we can see where we are at. Can't see a promotion push this season, but I couldn't last season either. I think we should stick with the devil we know and hope he learns from his mistakes and pushes us forward next season. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 He named Holloway and (Steve) Clarke earlier.Holloway would be ok short term to motivate the players,(shouldn't bloody need motivating) and Clark would not come, we couldn't afford him anyway. Quote
COYW Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 (edited) Hall was always one for the future. One for the future that cost us the best part of £500K plus £2,500 for every game he plays. Edited December 30, 2013 by COYW Quote

He has played most of his signings regularly this season which indicates he backs his judgement of a player. Moritz took his time to get fit and Hall is one for the future. However, if DF thinks Beckford or Medo needs a rest then I can't see a problem. We have had a lot of games recently. Craig Davies is the only DF player who has not had a run this season. Quote
COYW Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 All that doesn't stop him being a cunt though. I couldn't care less. We're not appointing a P.R. spokesman. I'm more interested in his performance than his persona. Quote
