I've only booked it cos I've not ticked it off yet.

 

Got 3 new grounds in 2 weeks with Reading, QPR and Ipswich.

Out 7:15 from Manc, arrive at Euston for 9:24

 

10:04 from Euston arrive Ipswich 11:34 (that's with the tube to)

 

Leave Ipswich at 6:13

Setting off earlier than us and leaving later, hardcore.

Went to the play-off games but hadn't been for as few years so I went last year. I drove and we stayed over. 

 

Its one hell of a drive, no better on the train due to lack of direct access and the town centre is like "the land that time forgot" with no atmosphere, very old fashioned  and "No away fans" posters on most pubs. We did not see one other BWFC in town pre match - a first at this level.... That said we saw very few Ipswich neither.     

 

The away pub opposite the station is OK and the stations location near the ground is handy but that's about it.

 

Enjoy the piss up on the train as that's as good as it gets....

 

Needless to say I will not be going to the Country Bumpkin shit-hole again ......

my fault posting under ipswich away????

Tickets on sale for Reading from tomorrow, £25 for adults, £17 for under 22's, £10 for under 16's. Not bad that.

Our average ticket price is 8 quid

Which makes it twice as baffling why my season ticket is double that per match?

No problem with the encouragement of youngsters coming, it's really paid off judging by some of the away followings of Yoof.

 

Basic maths says that for everyone paying up front in our posh seats, someone else is getting in for nowt!!
