Bolton V Burnley

Featured Replies

After watching that I actually think we have got better players than Burnley. What we don't have is a manager with a clue how to attack teams.Too much pointless sideways passing, no urgency to get forward and not enough players getting into attacking positions. That's easy to sort by getting a better manager.

Bollocks.   So you are saying that Scott Arfield is better than Chungy?   Scott Arfield that got released from Huddersfield last season?   You're saying that David Jones is better than Jay Spear

  • Bogdan Baptiste knight mills ream Lee danns medo hall Pratley Jutkz

  • Sauna in 15 minutes, pint then LOV, pint, food, pint, pint. First half, pint in LOV stay in there for 2nd half pint, pint, pint. 1-2.

Our fate won't be decided by playing teams like Burnley says Dougie

What a cock. Mind you it did look at times last 15 minutes we'd settled for a 0-1 defeat and limited damage. It looked like they'd written it off and were saving themselves for Saturday

So we're not even competing against cunts like them?

How incredibly upsetting to read.

Aye

I think it's time to go now.

Nanight sweet children.

Mihajlovic took corners when veron and figo were in the team at Inter I think.

The fact ream is a centre half is totally irrelevant. He has the best (only) left foot in the team. Plus he's pretty average in the air.

Plus mijhailovic was one of the finest strikers of a dead ball that you're likely to ever see

Tuesday 25th February. Charlton v Barnsley. They can't both lose.

Whatever money Eddie can raise get shut of Freedman pay him off and scrape together the biggest budget you can muster for a manager with proven record of motivating players, even if it means next season we sell the likes of LCY Mark Davies to pay for it the future of the club depends on getting a proven man manager in place now.

I'd like to know why people think that having a clear out and starting again is going to pay dividends, when he signs players and then loans them out, or benches them in preference to another player he's just signed. It's like he's playing lucky dip with the transfer budget.

Agreed

The players he signs will be worse than we currently have.

fucking cunt lost me £20

I thought we played well & were the better team first half, even though we didn't create many clear cut chances.

After their goal, on the face of it bringing Moritz & Mavies on was a positive move, but i thought we missed Medo & Trotter more & we were less of a threat as Burnley kept possession more comfortably.

The Pole was very good again first half, but unsurprisingly faded out later.

Medo wank, didn't want to know tonight.

Trotter really wank, offers nothing to the team.

They were no world beaters but simply pressed in pairs when they didn't have the ball and kept the fucker when they had it and of course walked the ball into our net whilst the gormless fuckers stood around with their thumbs up their arses.

they needed the 3 points, withstood our pressure and then hit us with a good goal

no comeback from us as we have a lack of options on the bench

who's fault is that?

overall, not as much as a disaster as Bournemouth as the six fingered twats are probably going up

Went into half time feeling like we had something positive to build on; Lee had one of the best halves I think Ive ever seen him play, he was into challenges, making runs, flicks, picking out decent passes, Burnley didn't know how to deal with him. Jutkewicz again holding it up well too.

Second half though, what happened? What's said at half time? What was that on-pitch warm up session just before kick off all about?

Absolute night and day between the first half Lee and the second half Lee. Hardly look up for the relegation fight that we're knee deep in most of those players.

Load of shit.

No no no

Everything is shit...

Seriously, agree completely

That first twenty five was excellent

I felt they controlled the second half without ever battering us

Only caught a glimpse of it on the screens on way back up to the seats and did a double take, thought they were subs warming up for a moment but no!

Aye

It's Burnley, not Barcelona.

Freedman has surely lost the plot.

Anyone get a programme tonight? Dyche was saying he couldn't believe how derogative the notes about them were in it and that it gave them a boost before the game. What was written?

Of all the players freedman has brought in is there 1 player better than what we already had

the difference between us and burnley was that they played their usual game and didn't worry about us,freedman worries about the opposition and tries to pick his team for a particular game-without any success

time for him to go before he completely empties the stadium, his team selections are crap and 1 man up front at home is useless as our record shows-we must be the easiest team in the division to play against

Dyche is a twat

A ginger aldridge

Only Stuff I could see was this.

Having won 10 of their opening 13 Championship fixtures, Burnley started November three points clear at the top of the table. However, having won just five games since then, recent inconsistencies see the Clarets lie in second place at the time of writing - 11 points behind runaway leaders Leicester City.

With it seemingly inevitable that the Foxes will secure their place in Premier League next year, Burnley now face a fight with Queens Park Rangers for the other automatic promotion spot. And with Derby County, Nottingham Forest and Reading hot on their heels, Burnley are in desperate need to rediscover their early season form.

The Clarets actually come into today’s fixture off the back of a seven-match unbeaten league run, defeating Millwall 3-1 in their last outing on Saturday afternoon. However, four of those matches having ended in stalemate, highlighting the change in Burnley’s fortunes since their impressive start to the campaign, where Brighton & Hove Albion were the only side to take maximum points off the Clarets in the season’s formative weeks.

Since that run, poor away form has proven particularly costly as Burnley slowly loosened their hold on top spot. After winning five of their first six fixtures away from Turf Moor, Burnley’s only win on their travels since mid-

“We can’t hide from where we are right now. Games against the likes of Burnley won’t decide our future. It’s games against the teams in and around us that are going to prove crucial."

Jesus wept

I've backed him and backed him but I just can't see it working. I've run out of excuses for him. Something has to change

Bedsheet brigade to make an appearance on Saturday

Iv'e backed him to the hilt, but the " it's not the results against Burnley, but the teams around us" comments have tipped me over the edge, they are the words of a lost soul, he's given up, now I am not in any way shape or form a Gartside basher, but his silence has been deafening, if only he would go public and tell us this long term plan, maybe give us an insight as to the clubs strategy, then maybe we could live with this shiteness, but as long as Gartside stays silent, it's Dougie taking the flak, he was happy to hold a Q&A  session pre season, my guess he would be less likely to hold one now, for whatever reason Gartside goes into hiding when things goes tits up.
