Who do Blackburn play out there? Agreed. I think today's set up worked perfectly against today's opposition but could go horribly wrong against a team that targets our weakest point...our full backs. Trouble is...if DF makes any changes, he opens himself up to criticism , especially the old bollocks about never changing a winning team. IMO, today has gone, & next week's team should be chosen specifically to play Blackburn.

February 22, 201412 yr Lets get a grip. I saw the line up and thought it was shite - 4-4-2 but no width. I didn't bank on the Juke totally dominating their central defenders and Masons excellent movement, pity he missed a couple of chances but his overall contribution was good. Well pleased with outcome but lets not get carried away....... Watford were poor but still created a few opportunities particularly the Deeney header which he really should have buried. DF may just have smelled the coffee - sack the ball retention possession football 4 - 2 - 3 -,1 in favour of a more direct approach. The chances we created were as a result of getting the ball forward quicker and competing for the first and second ball. Better sides than Watford will not be bullied in the same manner. It ìsnt quite as pretty as Dougie may like but if it keeps us afloat we will have it. Our squad strength - well certainly the fuckin wage bill, should see Wanderers in play offs minimum not fighting relegation. But this is where we are. With the ability and attitude shown today we can feel more confident. y

February 23, 201412 yr Watford's next 4 matches: H v Blackpool A v Charlton (unless Ch still in the Cup) A v Doncaster H v Barnsley. So let's hope they improve! Five before yesterday they had won 3 an drawn two, one of the draws away at Leicester. They are not a bad side and were on a decent run, there is a chance we played well yesterday. Two up front meant the ball did not just keep coming back so midfield could push up and support better. I still think movies is wasted in the wider role.
