March 5, 201412 yr Stop supporting a shit club then. You can always dip a few extra bins to pay for it though I like the punishment of not winning stuff. Im loaded, paid in full.
March 5, 201412 yr This is what fucks me off Any supporters who paid for their season ticket via direct debit will automatically have their ticket renewed on the 12 month scheme for the next season and will receive a new payment schedule in the coming days.
March 5, 201412 yr This is what fucks me off Out of interest, Why? Isn't this the same for most DD's? Car insurance, Sky subscriptions etc, you can just call up & cancel surely?
March 5, 201412 yr Blackpool season ticket anywhere in the ground last season £195 Wigan £250 including European fixtures and I think cup. Ours £380 It's the same fucking product. Really really pisses me off. We are a championhip club. The wage bill etc will after this season be a championship wage bill. We are currently in a relegation fight in the bastard championship yet the club deem it appropriate to announce season ticket prices that have done everything but go down. Why bother getting one when every fucker gets £10 tickets, special offers and freebies every week? For the first time in 20+ years Im honestly thinking of not bothering. It's a fucking joke.

I know what you're saying but there is a difference for me. Sky is continuous product when buying a season ticket you buy for that particular season and then the direct debit is over like your mobile phone contract, when your 18 month deal is up it doesn't just automatically renew itself especially for a higher amount, you get pestered for months in advance to stop you from going elsewhere. A direct debit is a way of paying for a product, its not a contract for life to keep buying a new product every year until you cancel.

Not quite like for like there Gonz, Wigan's starting point were £280 and climbed as high as £360. Granted it's still a bit less but probably not much difference last season. Look at a few others in the league and we don't do too badly at all. In fact, I had the Hibs season ticket brochure through last week and it was £355, lower tier behind the goal, buy before next week etc etc, so I thank myself lucky this is the first time NSL has hit the £300 barrier.
March 5, 201412 yr its gonna be DD and knock the interest free down to minimum payment for the next 20 years I seem to have been stuck in the 700s for ages now no idea where I'll put the next one
March 5, 201412 yr Problem is though Gonzo that even in this league we are competing against teams with much higher gate receipts. So once parachutes run out we will need to increase this and am not sure price reductions will see enough more folk come along. I think I read that Brighton have gate receipts of double ours
March 5, 201412 yr Is April 6 the end of the financial year? No its the point when the most die hard fans realise that we are not going to go up

I think I read that Brighton have gate receipts of double ours they got something like the 7th most season ticket holders in the country not sure how mind, can't just be for opening a new stadium so assume a go in the half time glory hole is included or something

Still cheaper than ours mind for arguably better football. I'm not buying for one minute the club can't give us some kind of deal. Season after season the club do deals for non season ticket holders to get folk through the door which I'm a massive advocate of. I just feel us season ticket holders deserve a bit of a cheap deal for a change. I've never had fuck all off the club since I started paying for myself when I was 17,not one cheap deal,no offers not a fucking stitch. Same goes for my old man who's had a season ticket since when they thought the earth was flat. It's fucking disgrace. I don't want money off in the club shop as I apart from £15 polo shirt every Xmas for my dad I don't spend anything In there. I also don't want to be 'in it together' with anyone. I just want some kind of reasonable return for my money apart from bog standard championship football in a ground that runs out of bovril at 2:58pm and serves cold coffee for £1.80 and pints of piss for £3.50 or whatever it is. March 5, 201412 yr The clubs doesn't really owe you anything though. You pay to watch your team, weather you are good or not. The costs and overheads don't change just because you are not that good anymore. Players wages go up, even the crap players draw a huge wage. Just the way it is. Im not one for comparing my season ticket price with other clubs, im not bothered. Thats the cost, the my club set, either pay up, or become an armchair fan. Edited March 5, 201412 yr by Pablo
March 5, 201412 yr £10 tickets available for 18 of 23 home games = £180 Early season ticket ie 5 months before the start of the season = £390 So, £210 for 5 home games as an Earlybird Season ticket holder? Get to fuck.

Get to fuck. Do you want to sit in the North Upper? £10 tickets do, and using that fact, its not £390 for a season ticket in NU. Edit. Then 5 games at full price will take you up to or above the season ticket price* *maybe, I can't be arsed working it out Edited March 5, 201412 yr by BOWTUN BAKED
March 5, 201412 yr Trying to read the season ticket prices on my phone is a chore as the print is too small. Can somebody let me know the price in the esl please before the April 6th deadline?

Then 5 games at full price will take you up to or above the season ticket price* *maybe, I can't be arsed working it out Aye North Stand season ticket = £304 If you were to buy 18 lots of £10 tickets and, say, the other 5 tickets were £25 then it's a total of £305. So, in summary Gonch, you CAN go and watch football for the same price as those who are only forking out a tenner for games ... but it means you have to sit amongst them. If you want to sit in a part of the ground that has a better view and a better atmosphere then you have to pay a premium for it. Just bear in mind, if you ever do consider defecting to the North Stand, whenever it's cold, the match is shit and the atmosphere is flat, it'll feel a whole lot worse. You've never experienced how depressing a BWFC game can be unless you've been sat up there.
March 5, 201412 yr I have utilised £10 tickets for every game possible this year, and as a result of stairs, shite view of far goal, and no atmosphere am purchasing a ST in ESL next year. Add the fannying around getting hold of the ticket, and the prospect of seeing Anewman, makes saving a few quid hardly worth while.
March 5, 201412 yr As I've said I'm not arsed about the club doing cheap offers for various parts on ground. I know full well I could take advantage of these offers, ditch my season ticket and sit somewhere else. All I am saying is that season ticket holders get fuck all year after year. Not arsed about the money,I'm bothered about the club inviting new supporters season after season with £10 tickets or whatever and season tickets holders get nothing and totally taken for granted....and then asked to comit to buying a month before the current season if finished or the price goes up! It fookin stinks.
