I often see updates on various social media sites giving updates on Wanderers players out on loan. Basically snapshots, so player x came on as sub after 66 mins in a 1-1 draw at y.
I can give a FREE appraisal to DF and his staff on young Eaves as I've seen nigh on every game he's played for Shrewsbury since joining in November (two goals in that time). It's an honest appraisal for which a scout could potentially earn a coupe of hundred quid for their time. Oh yes, time. I left Greenhous Meadow yesterday at 2.30 in the afternoon and returned from Colchester (we lost 1-0) exactly 12 hours later. It was a relegation 6 pointer and Eaves missed a chance on 7 mins that my dead granny would have nutted in from her coffin. After that you could sense the belief had disappeared with the team basically thinking: 'here we go again, cow's arse/banjo.'
If Tom Eaves is a Championship footballer, then that Boeing 777 will be back doing charter flights along the Fylde coast by the end of today. He runs like a flid, has no comprehension of the offside laws whatsoever, is scared of the ball messing up his girly fringe, and goals to chances conversion ration is running out about 1:10 I'd say. Frustration ain't the word and I would gleefully put him in my motor and run him up to BL6 in the next half hr.
Doogie: do yourself a favour son and get him off the wage bill. He's stealing a wage at our place.
To sum up: NOWHERE NEAR GOOD ENOUGH.
Do not pin any hopes you have on him fellow Whites. He's dogspunk.
