Great game, good atmosphere. Thought DF got it spot on with how the team was set up. Thought Juke should have one off earlier as he was fooked. Would have been harsh to loose, so happy with a point.

Hate to say it but Wigan are a far better squad than us and will go up (unfortunately). Looking forward to Huddersfield now.

More of the same next week please.

This time next year.....

I think with Danns, Mason and Davies unavailable the team virtually picked itself, I thought we were better than them all over the pitch and I will be highly surprised if Wigan go up, completely over rated.

I'll have a pint Wigan Mounts (said in a Smithalls Gent twang)?

I'm bored of the 'Baptiste is crap' bandwagon that everybody seems to be jumping on. He had a bad 10 minutes yesterday and was poor at Yeovil but then again he was covering at left back as a right footer. I believe he's played well in recent home matches we've played at right back from what i've seen. Everybody needs a scapegoat it seems, before him it was CY Lee, Knight and Bogdan.

Baptiste is like Ream; decent footballer but doesn't seem comfortable at full back with folk running at him

We seem to get these

How much better has Wheater been since his return?? I've been well impressed

I hope Wheater gets a long run in the side now, no changing him for the sake of rotation. Constant game time is clearly bringing him up a level.

That Ooh Aaahh chant they do

Is that all the syllables they can manage??

What a load of absolute turd

Wish we could end up with Alan Hutton, he's a proper full back.

Knight was immense, he loved it. Fair dos to him, he's stood up to the job.

Spearing and Medo out battled Wigan's midfield.

The Juke ran himself into the ground. Quite a few of the side looked knackered after 80 mins due to their efforts.

Great game, watching ESL explode when the penalty was saved was brilliant.

Such a shame we didn't get the second our play deserved.

Don't reckon that was a red card offence either, I've got a big problem with games being changed because of that rule. The professional foul rule was brought in to prevent blatant attempts to haul players down who were about to score. Genuine attempts to tackle or accidental clumsy fouls shouldn't attract red cards as well.

Good entertaining derby. Enjoyed Wanderers Suite for first time too, will do that again.

these injuries

Didn't Dougie say on friday that everyone was fit?

I'd like to think that was tactical so Wigan assumed they'd play

He's even cleverer than hitherto suspected

But that's you disagreeing with the rule

the rules state that was a red card.

and it doesn't matter if it was Mr Blobby or Usain Bolt going through on goal, the referee doesn't make his decision based on the ability or speed of the player.

Football league show didn't even show the incident when trotter was taken down by Barnett. Tin pot programme.

I don't stuff like this.

Surely that was a key moment and should have been shown?

I've just watched that pen save again on Gosls on Sunday and let out a bit of wee when Bogbrush punched the air towards the Wigan fans

Yes yes yes. Feels like a win. Great atmosphere. I was one of the Wigan? Meh types. Not anymore. Proper Derby.

what happened in town before and after match, anyone? I was in town for half five and saw fuck all

Well said Garrp. Even if you wander in to the consistency or common sense argument it was a red card.

It was one of the highlights of this season that save I nearly walked out in a huff when it was given, well worth getting damp for. :)
