I've been quick to criticise Freedmans tactics recently, but the changes worked well today. I think we had the better chances and could easily have beaten a side on the ascendancy.

Numerous very good performances today as previously mentioned.

Moritz may not have pace, but he's a footballer unlike Trotter who does his best not to get involved in play. The way be was pushed off the ball by a player half his weight and size in the second half was a joke.

It was a total pisstake, they let the Wigan fans have the Special and onto the next service train, then when the next one after that came just as they were about to open the gate a true bellend of a copper was ordered to close it again as a small group of Wigan fans had turned up. Why they couldn't hold them back I don't know.

 

I went to Scotts for a piss and a warm up after a bit, I'd heard enough renditions of "sit down if you hate Wigan, stand up if you hate Wigan, bounce around if you hate Wigan" for one day!

 

It seems to me there's the makings of some real large scale hate between our two sets of fans after what Ive seen and heard from the two matches with them this season

Those lads on the station were about 15! Pathetic if you ask me, after all there main lot had gone.

I had the ignominy of walking to the ground with Wigan's 'top boys' (oxymoron alert). I was running late and en route to the ground at 2:45 ish got corralled into their police escort from the Beehive when I tried to overtake them. Efforts to evade it were fruitless as the coppers kept pushing me back. The average age was around 15, they smelt of Hollands pies and were the scruffiest bunch of retards you could ever wish to meet. They hate us with a vengeance, singing their 'we hate Bolton' and something about Muamba, that I couldn't decipher from their neandrathal ramblings. I gave them the glare, they obviously sussed me but did nowt, the soft, scruffy gets.

 

At the turn-in to the car park I got free, a copper said to me, 'you not going in?' 'Not with that set of women slappin arseholes' said I, to which the copper chortled and sent me on my merry way.

Players and fans showed fight and spirit today, more of this, please.
