I thought we played well today and should've won. We so nearly lost it though. Brilliant penalty save by Bogdan.

 

The Juke was superb again. Really hope we manage to sign him. Everybody else played well too imo. Apart from Trotter and Baptiste when he came on.

 

Oh and how the fuck was that not a red card? Shite decision.

Some of the comments from those not there on this thread are mildly amusing. We should've won but life is like that sometimes. Trotter is a bit biz. They proper fucking hate us.The liner and ref were nobs. That penalty save nearly made me wee with excitement.

For the first time in a long time we out battled Wigan on the pitch. We were first to most tackles and 50:50's which made the result very pleasing. I had no confidence whatsoever when i saw the teamsheet so credit where its due.

Well I'm no cretin but I thought today was bereft of quality.

 

Maybe that was influenced by me shaking my head every time trotter went near the ball though.

Moyes probably thinks the same about Mata. That's football.

Captain angry was on trotters back from before kick off.

He then lost his rag again with poppa Spencer taking the piss.

 

Trotter was poor but not as poor as a lot of folk made him out to be.

 

Impressed with pretty much anyone else.

 

From my corner of the NSL it looked liked AAH dropped a clanger leading to the Juke poking home. After that he made some crucial saves.

 

The frantic scrambles in the box when the ball wasn't sitting for anyone to kick properly were massively frustrating.

Everyone of the starting XI played well except Trotter. He really is a stump.

 

We had a lot of ball around their box but never really the clear chance to finish them off.

 

Red card all day long.

I was wondering where Mason was? Injured I take it?

I'm not a fan ofTrotter but his bulk is useful in the middle we need someone with his physical presence but preferably someone who can who can also play a bit, really enjoyed the game thought Juke was immense as was Wheater and dare I say it Knight, Hutton gives you physical presence and would love to sign him, but Juke is the one we need more than any other I absolutely love everything about his game, could be a top top player for us.

It was a total pisstake, they let the Wigan fans have the Special and onto the next service train, then when the next one after that came just as they were about to open the gate a true bellend of a copper was ordered to close it again as a small group of Wigan fans had turned up. Why they couldn't hold them back I don't know.

 

I went to Scotts for a piss and a warm up after a bit, I'd heard enough renditions of "sit down if you hate Wigan, stand up if you hate Wigan, bounce around if you hate Wigan" for one day!

 

It seems to me there's the makings of some real large scale hate between our two sets of fans after what Ive seen and heard from the two matches with them this season

The atmosphere was a lot better today BWFC fans just want to see committed players and they will create an atmosphere. I finally sense the end of a dark long tunnel coming to an end, players and fans seem to be coming together I'm getting giddy for next season already.
