Baptiste comes on, gets booked, gives it away in a good attacking situation, then gives away the penalty and could have been sent off again. Beckford also messed up a couple of good chances and Moritz should have done better imo with his 2 chances.

 

Before all that it was Bolton v Al Habsi, Hall, Spearing, Medo and Knight all were great, best player was Juke, but he looked really tired long before he went off.

How we didn't win that by 3 or 4 I'll never know. Wigan was lucky to beat us at their ground as well.

I was critical of freedman for the 451 but I'll give him credit today because it worked.

 

The referee cost us the win today by not sending Leon Barnett off because it was a clear red. If it's a foul then it's a red. Referee was shocking all game.

 

Dougie shouldn't of took hall off. He was playing well and he had the legs to keep going. That was a poor decision.

If he'd have not made a change and the same player would have scored then you would have lambasted him from staying with an attacking formation and not reacting to their changes.

This is where I'm at.

 

Al Habsi is suffering from Hierro syndrome. A couple of good games for us (I think he only played (maybe started) 10 times) and he's some kind of legend.

Every time we try and hang on for the points we fuck it up.

 

Maybe change The Duke because he was Knackered but the other substitutions gave them the momentum
