Next Seasons Starting 11

Featured Replies

Nobody can predict our starting 11 ever unless Douglas sorts his fucking head out. Picking the team to counteract the other team like he does is a load of bollocks.

He needs to pick his best team and we need to take the game to the other team. Its not a chess match like champions league level where a lot of teams are very good ability wise and one moment of class will turn a game. He puts way too much emphasis on what the other team are going to do.

Weve chucked a load of points away this season by giving dogshit teams too much respect. Personnel changes will happen with 46 league matches but if we just concentrate on us and let the other teams worry about us then we will be better off imo.

All our players are nice and fresh for the summer holidays at least after Dougies squad rotation policy

  • He's a no good frog eyed wanker that's caused nothing but grief since the moment he got here.   If he can't prove himself at two different clubs in the bottom half of the championship then he's not

Personally I think dougie will walk away. At the end of the season

I believe Andrews isn't very highly thought of personally or professionally in certain reebok quarters so can't see him being greeted back with open arms, - expecting him to be off somewhere, either released on a free so he can go elsewhere or at least a loan

if it were a choice between knight and mills - given mills has got another year would expect him to stay and knight to move on - unless we can release or shift mills on, but he's played enough times this season to suggest DF is happy with him in the squad, so can't see him leaving

as for sordell, fuck knows, the next mears

This.....with knobs on!

I honestly don't think we are going to see the wholesale changes a lot of folk seem or would like to think.

Not a cat in hells chance!

I don't really think we need wholesale changes. We need to sort our best system and team and put it on the pitch most of the time. A plan B is always good but Dougie seems to have a plan for a-z and I think the tinkering has done us no favours.

Look at Burnley and Leicester, they have not fucked around with their team every week have they?

What makes you think that? - and if he's going to walk away, why wait until the end of the season, why has he not done it sooner?

cos he needs the excuse of us going into administration, silly

I forgot about that, have we got enough of a points buffer yet to suffer the 10pts deduction, or will we just start next season on -10?

Start next season on -10 then Kia can buy at a knock down price

Craig Davies is walking away.

would be next season

too late for this year

we've missed our chance to have all our assets sold off in a fire sale

I honestly don't think we are going to see the wholesale changes a lot of folk seem or would like to think.

but that's been half his problem, the deadwood and high earners who we're waiting till the summer to shift...

I'd be surprised if the following are here next season, by choice or by someone taking them off our hands:

Eagles

Knight

NGog

Andrews

Mears

C Y Lee

M Davies

Mortiz

Mason

if that does happen, there's a lot of work to do

Yet, on paper, all of them should be easily good enough for this league.

Football's played on grass, not paper.

Have I missed something? I thought Ngog had already gone?

Anyways, I would be VERY surprised if M Davies, Moritz, Lee, Knight are NOT here next season. What makes you think they won't be?

Mears will still be collecting his pay and rotting in the reserves too.

Mason won't be back unless it's on a season-long loan, and if Andrews is back he won't be playing. No idea what's happening with Eagles, depends whether his contract is up or not (I'm assuming for now that it is).

So out of the 8 you listed (not counting Ngog) I'd think that only 2 or 3 won't be playing for us next season.

Dougie loves moritz doesn't he ?

Ngog only on loan so until he's officially gone and he's not costing us anything he's on the list, either way, he won't be here

If bids come in for m Davies and Lee I think they'll be sold, be surprised if no bids come in or agents aren't touting them, hope not, but would be surprised

Isn't mears out of contract?

Moritz out of contract, df suggested his next offer won't be as good as this one (for him and all the rest out of contract) and would think likely be tailored to how often he plays, so then we'll see how happy he is on the bench then

As for Knight, depends on how much we offer and how arsed he is about looking for another deal, but again he won't get as good as he's on now

I'm sure NGog has gone

I'm sure NGog has gone

My mate Wiki say

On 27 January 2014, N'Gog joined Premier League side Swansea City until the end of the season, signing for an undisclosed fee.[27] He made his debut for the club on the 1 February 2014 as a substitute for Nathan Dyer in a 2-0 away defeat to West Ham United.[28]

Well, as said, will be surprised if he's here next season

Thought it were a loan, glad we're not paying him anything

Of that list

Eagles - Won't be here, contract up and not even making the bench now.

Knight - Depends if he wants to move to the US, will be offered a new deal so I expect him to still be here

NGog - Already gone

Andrews - Doesn't really want to stay, just a case of whether someone is prepared to pay most of his wages

Mears - Out of contract ( I think) so gone

C Y Lee - Will probably be off if rumours of Hull making a bid are to be believed, Dougie will want some money to re invest, hopefully in the Juke

M Davies - I think he will still be here, misses too many games for anyone to give us the transfer fee we are looking for.

Moritz - Not sure he will accept lower wages knowing he is unlikely to start games.

Mason - Unless Cardiff stay up won't be coming back.  If they do, then maybe

I'd also add Sordell and Craig Davies to the list of those likely to be playing elsewhere next season.

Sordell is going nowhere, high wages and he's fucking shit.
