Pre Season.

4games confirmed for July, Macclesfield, Rochdale, Tranmere, and Port Vale, none of them very inspiring, but suppose it's about getting them fit.

Had enough chances to win 5 games.

Naive defending cost us.

You shouldn't lose a game at 2 up whoever you are playing.

Just watched the highlights. Looking at the positives - we played some lovely football, especially first half.

What if you are an under 12's ladies team and have somehow managed to get a friendly against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. They are playing their full team but they manage to concede 2 own goals in the first 2 minutes. On 3 minutes you lose your star player, Janice Ostlethwaite a defensive lynchpin and crucial to your back four who have only conceded 35 in the past 4 games - a club record. Coming on in her place is an untried but highly rated 10 year old girl. Plus it's 35 degrees C.

What about then?

But its not at the bernabeu or against madrid though is it

A draw would be acceptable.

What is Ostlethwaite had stayed on?

Probably repeating what someone has already put.

We draw with Brondby.

Liverpool beat by Brondy.

School yard rules apply.

Better than Liverpool.

They finished 2nd in the league last year.

Does that make us the No.1 team in the country?

No it would make us the 2nd best team

What is Ostlethwaite had stayed on?

If Janice (1st name terms and all that) had stayed on, nothing less than 10-0 would suffice.

After all, we were 2-0 up. Just like Reading were against us at Wembley.

if the 10 year old is good enough to be on the bench, she should be good enough to replace Janice. I know the 10 year old in question has a club foot and very bad asthma, but she should still be putting a shift in.

Think the trauma of being interviewed by the Operation Yew Tree investigators obviously affected her concentration levels

If the 10 year old with a club foot and very bad asthma doesn't put a shift in chasing ever ball down.... Are we allowed to boo?

Yes, we must boo, it's the only way she'll improve

It's obligatory if she's a local girl.

I pay my imaginary money - I have the right to imaginarily boo Janice's imaginary replacement in this imaginary scenario. How much pocket money is she on a week?

The lazy fucking Bitch!

Imaginary manager & chairman out!!

Just watched the Mjallby highlights and think we played some really good stuff going forward could have scored 6. Halls looking sharp hope he continues in that form into the season.

Lovely touch from Beckford for Hall's goal too

I don't want to give too much credence to the highlights though or I'll end up moaning about our defending for balance!

Looks like we got the attacking bit right also looked like we zipped the ball about with more purpose and pace and got the ball forward quicker all massive positives in my eyes. Get the right striker in start quickly and I think we can easily achieve the play offs I'm keeping positive.

If we can't beat Johan Mjallby it's time to pack up.

he must be mid-40's now.

Anyone going to Macc?

Anyone going to Macc?

Cricket at OT tonight but doing Hyde v development team tomorrow mates lad big Bolton fan leading line for Hyde.

Just logged on to do the Jan Mjallby joke and someone beat me to it.

Bastard.

Think I'll go to Hyde tomorrow - thunderstorms permitting. Been a few times before.

Not sure about Macc tonight. Maybe.
