Seen Arcade Fire at Gmex a good few years ago. Was enjoyable. Last night I just flicked over now & then but it didn't grab me. Lots of band wagoners into them now. Watched Band of Skulls, Haim, John Newman, Lily Allen - a bit of Interpol - and bits of Elbow. That latter two were pretty dreary. But then again I like White Lies and most find them dreary. Lily was pure filth. Haim were filth - don't like wimmin' screaming muthafucker all the time. But great legs! Metallica live in your living room tonight - you don't know how fortunate you lot are. They are very good. People talking about layers in songs - Metallica have a lot of layered songs. Hoping for Disposable Heroes & Creeping Death! Battery to open would be wanktastic! Folk should give them a listen - like they have done with Arcade Fire. Only fair! Kasabian speed too much time trying hard to be rock stars. Starting to bore me. But some of their new stuff is good.
