More Confirmation Why I Hate The Reebok/macron

Thinking it was a 3 o clock kick off I get to the ground at halftime to be turned away at the turnstyle by some miserable old cunt who wouldn't let us pay to go in. I said not even let the kids in and his reply was to go the ticket office. At burnden they would of just said in you go pal and hope the kids have a good time

  • Lads, it's not just our ground that charges ridiculous prices you know.   Or do you prefer just to slag your own club off at any given opportunity?   It's really simple, if you hate it that much,

  • If I'd done something so numb I'd keep quiet rather than blame every fucker else.

I think it should be free beers, free pies and free blow jobs.

I've heard free blow jobs are regularly on offer in the ESLSC anyway.

spazzy Darren even takes his teeth out too so I'm told

If we're loaded, then surely that means that Gartside has done a good job then?

WANDERERS chairman Phil Gartside is not concerned about the club’s level of debt

I wonder if Eddie feels the same

In an unrelated story, we are starting with one striker at the weekend

You would be fucked out there not knowing what to support first :)

£3.60 for a pint is outrageous.

£2.60 for a bag of Maltesers is daft too.

How much ?

You can't carry £2.60 worth of Maltesers.

Match day buses were £1.50 return.

Now £3 one way.

it costs more to take my kids on the bus than it does for their ST!

Again I think the issue is scale

As more fans fick it off it's left to the ones still coming to share the fixed costs between them pushing prices up

If a match day bus used to be full and is now only half full it makes sense that the cost would double

Drive then.

I don't get the anger. Everything is going up in price. their running costs will be higher.

they drive you in and out. you can have a beer and a chill out. if you don't want to pay it...drive in, don't have a beer and sit on the car park whilst the buses are cleared before you.

Stuff like the buses were subsidised in the prem, now we haven't got a pot to piss in, fans pay.

Less fans come... Club goes tits up

Simples

What was the beer like at Burnden?

Drive then.

you are misreading my post- there is no anger, merely pointing out (in view of the inflated price) that the overall cost of travel is more than the ticket itself.  As it stands, I don't drive, but will look at alternatives on Saturdays (£3ish train return for the three of us, or private minibus).  Have the routes/number of buses in operation changed since numbers began to dwindle?
