Seabiscuit
I don't know the numbers, but I bet our wage bill was comparable. Don't confuse transfer fees with money paid out. Good comedy The season Bolton finished 6th only 3 clubs in the Premier League had a lower wage bill. Newcastle's wage bill was twice as big as ours.Southampton were relegated with a higher wage bill than us.
superkev
It took Leicester 10 years to get back to the prem and that included a spell in league 1. Hope it doesn't take that long though

Similar story for Southampton.[/ Ten years but light at the end of the tunnel after seven years (minus the three years of crap we have / are enduring), I make 2017/18 season will be OK :-/ then the next two will be good Edited August 25, 2014 by Ratwhite
Smiley
What crowds were Leicester & Southampton getting during their lean spells? And when they dropped into League 1? Be interested to see.
RoadRunnerFan
Read we'd paid the overdraft off with this year's parachute money, Eddie isn't going to put himself into administration for the rest of the debt. Commonly admistration is triggered by the taxman, I don't think we've got those kind of cashflow issues just yet and some big contracts up in June. gonzo
What crowds were Leicester & Southampton getting during their lean spells? And when they dropped into League 1? Be interested to see. Average attendance for Leicester in league 1 was 17,893. Highest of season was over 30k for the game I presume they won the league.
