The one who was killed was running a "security" company, though by all accounts he was woefully underqualified to do so. The other chap is an experienced war correspondent. To his credit, he had released a video before he travelled to the region, saying that the responsibility to be in the the region was totally his, and if anything happened, he took resposibilty for his demise.
