September 25, 201411 yr I woke up a very proud wanderer this morning for the first time in years. Infact the only negatives i'v heard are from people on here (which is hardly surprising). I watched the game and it was so good to see us challenge and look like we wanted it in the last 10 minutes. COYWM! What about the previous 80?
September 25, 201411 yr Best advice as always is to ignore ready2roll They were better than us and should have scored more. No shit. Bears also shit in the woods. Great effort by the lads and great effort by the fans. No negativity just constant support for the team for 90 minutes. Freedman and the players appreciated it and it definitely made a difference to the team. Even when they went 2-1 up we were louder than them. Fuck me im glad Abramovich didn't buy us. At least our club means something to us. Chelsea fans went home thinking they won. I went home knowing us bolton fans won the game of life. Well chuffed
September 25, 201411 yr I sis to our mause that there was a worse atmosphere from Chelsea than you get at planet macron
September 25, 201411 yr and yeah I used to be a happy clapper! I also used to do score predictions using logos and footballs, used to use photoshop a lot, make kits, used to make videos, used to dance about being silly, used to record my playstation, used to love Bolton, used to watch Bolton being awesome, even when losing, loved it. no longer that, I'm only negative because it's what I'm seeing, hearing, maybe I've grown up and lost my childish side, I used post gifs, all time, smileys a lot, banana dancing smiley hasn't been used for a while, hardly make threads now. If I did all that still, maybe I'd still go to games, but I don't feel like I used to do, not just football as above. You were warned. Snorting excessive amounts of substances can have a lasting debilitating effect.
September 25, 201411 yr Not quite sure how we managed to keep them out for the first 20 minutes or so, their attacks just seemed to be relentless. It should have been 2 or 3 nil pretty early on. It was worth the £25 admission fee alone just to see Matt Mills head us back into the game, absolutely brilliant scenes in the top tier, one of the few highlights of what has been a pretty grim season so far. I thought we had a really good turn out yesterday, our lot made a load of noise and there was hardly any negativity amongst the fans. More of that please.. COYWM and as for you Garrp, fook off with your Jager bombs, it's no wonder you have night terrors.
September 25, 201411 yr Glad to hear the fans had a positive supportive night at the Bridge (good on you for going), and that the team (somehow?) kept the score to an impressive 1-2. (No sarcasm intended). It should be a bit of a confidence boost. I'd like to think they could build on that, especially the last 10 minutes I'm reading about, and start to impress themselves on the opposition from the 1st minute - especially at home - and start to put some performances and results together. Sadly, one of the constants in DF's reign has been that rarely does anything carry forward from one match to the next. Anyway we'll see.
September 25, 201411 yr What about the previous 80? What about it? We were playing the best team in the country away. We were still in it in the last 10 and were going forward, looking like we still wanted something from it Sorry we didnt batter them Anewman, maybe next time eh?
September 25, 201411 yr Author Would of been nice to try Wow you really are one of the most deluded people
September 25, 201411 yr Moxey is a big worry for me At Tranmere away pre-season (yes I know) I thought we had a proper full back, but he's really struggled since How long before he gets labelled poxy?!
September 25, 201411 yr As much as I don't rate DF as a man manager or tactician I think he's a decent spotter Obviously respect your opinion and you were actually there from my view watching online second half thought we did reasonably well especially when LCY came on and I think at the current state of the club we need to take positives however small they are, the positives are we scored we only lost by 1 to one of the best teams in Europe/world LCY, fantastic cameo proves he's back to nearly his best, also Mills was outstanding, him and Dervite look like they could do the business for us, the players were cheered to the roofs by a positive friendly away support ( I don't think we should under estimate positive support and what it can do to motivate players) all in all I think we're moving the right way in terms of performance, my hope for Saturday is that DF goes with a bold approach with 2 strikers and including LCY and Mark Davies and Macnaughton from the start and the fans get their chins up and actually try to lift the players. COYWM What's going on, Mounts ? It's not long since you were thinking of staying away (like me). Has someone hacked into your WW account ?
September 25, 201411 yr What's going on, Mounts ? It's not long since you were thinking of staying away (like me). Has someone hacked into your WW account ? Don't think I've ever said I would stay away, unless someone can find it We need positivity we need to support as much as we can although if something negative needs saying we should say it and we shouldn't just be positive all the time just for the sake of it, but wherever possible let's mention the positives however small they may be. I feel that the wave of negativity from certain quarters has become ridiculous a swirl that is in danger of sinking us further in the mire. PS The failure to sign Juke really badly pissed me off I knew then we wouldn't get promotion, took me a while to get over that. Edited September 25, 201411 yr by Mounts Kipper
September 25, 201411 yr PS The failure to sign Juke really badly pissed me off I knew then we wouldn't get promotion, took me a while to get over that. Time to get over this. He did sign for a club playing this season in the top tier, so it is more likely than not that we simply could not do enough to get him back. I'm hoping Iliev is in the plan for the next 3 weeks, perhaps the Bournemouth match.

September 25, 201411 yr Wow you really are one of the most deluded people Deluded? A realist pal, we are fucking shit under this nugget
September 25, 201411 yr And he seem to be getting a lot more game time than I thought he would. Hairy muff. Injuries to Vokes & Ings I think. Sordell might get game time too & I get a free pint
September 25, 201411 yr £4.70 for a Carling Cold in the pub up the road from the ground the thieving rats. Missed the game completely through not eating all day and managed to go through over £100 and that's with my ticket and travel paid for. It's about time I learned , I know that much.
September 25, 201411 yr Moxey is a big worry for me At Tranmere away pre-season (yes I know) I thought we had a proper full back, but he's really struggled since How long before he gets labelled poxy?! Cheap shot, too easy

PS The failure to sign Juke really badly pissed me off I knew then we wouldn't get promotion, took me a while to get over that. I wasn't expecting or asking for promotion, Mounts. I wanted (still want) a set of players playing as a team and producing some decent football with a few wins along the way, finishing around 10th to 12th. Doesn't seem much to ask, but I'm sadly disappointed and can see no signs of things improving under a manager who's had 2 years in charge.Hard to see positives. As for players signed or not signed, it doesn't bother me. For all we know they'd end up on the bench, played out of position, sent out on loan, used as a 91st minute substitute, labelled 'one for the future', or just labelled 'not fit enough yet'. As I said elsewhere. On the other hand, I'm looking forward to the corner being turned eventually - under whatever regime.
September 25, 201411 yr Author Deluded? A realist pal, we are fucking shit under this nugget I agree. But I was referring to the fact that you are getting angry that we wasn't creating chances against one of The top 3 sides in Europe.... That's the opposite of realist tbh
September 25, 201411 yr 28 chances to 3 is pretty pathetic really, ok they are a top team but we were in thy same division not too long ago and only 1 division behind.
