Apply the play/performance of the last 10 minutes to all Championship games (for 90+ mins) and we can take it to any side in the division.

Mason's scuffed shot went for a corner late on and Lee played very well, other than that it was a performance that had Chelsea taken their chances they would have been huge winners, they got past our defence time and again, Lonergan having to make saves all the time, woodwork, Lonergan and poor finishing was the reason this wasn't a huge loss.

 

If keeping Chelsea down to 2 and the margin of defeat to 1 is alright, then great, didn't reflect what happened.

Just saying it was a terrible performance, 2-1 suggests a close game, it was anything but, could so easily have been 10+ for Chelsea, easily, No one who watched it can argue otherwise, chance after chance.

Happy with most of what I saw in the second half, Feeney should have closed oscar down quicker but we did ok against a decent Chelsea team, Chungy playing well from what I've seen this season. Pick the right team and formation and get a decent striker on loan we will soon shoot up the league.

I remember when we were smashed at Man City and won with a penalty in the last 5 minutes. That felt amazing, even though the balance of play was very similar to today. The score at the top of the screen (I say that because that's how you watch most football) is the ONLY important stat.

 

I can't help but feel you'd "feel" better if we'd have been battered 7-0 like Wednesday were, and you could go all out saying how shit we are.

We were shit, the whole team were chasing shadows, you're only happy 'cos it was a close scoreline, so Dougie can say "I deserve one more year, we only lost by 1 at Chelsea"

 

.If we had lost 10-1 no one would have been surprised or shocked based on what happened.
