Youri McAnespie Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 There's no doubting his mettle or bravery (Lenny Henry) considering his ex-wife. Quote
Guest Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Is that it, then? Neil, Lennon? I'm behind him Quote
Guest Blixa Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I'm disappointed anewman hasn't started a 'Lennon out' thread yet. Standards are slipping. Quote
SatanGreavsie Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Has Lenny Henry got his badges? This one - ironically, his Ooooohkaaaay catchphrase used to be used by the Paddock back in the day whenever a black player got the ball Quote
mickbrown Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Czechoslovakia, Scotland and a Cup Winners Cup semi, brilliant, that's me pwned. Name one Bolton manager ever who's managed internationally or in a European semi. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) I've not got a problem with Lennon as a manager think he would restore pride and passion and easily keep us up but we cannot overlook his pro Irish anti British stance his refusal to wear the poppy and the strength of feeling of a good number of some of our die hard fans I'm not a Celtic or Rangers man but the baggage he brings we don't need and I think you would call it a brave choice by Gartside however given his failures picking the last few managers I think he'd be stupid to chose Lennon. Smiffs Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 'they have won more in Europe than we have' Belgium has had better success in Europe than we have. Means fuck all. That's a tallest dwarf contest. I could take a fucking Subbuteo team into Europe from the Scottish league. I'd sooner dig Fred West up than have Neil Lennon. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Well he's wore the poppy that's 1 out of 3. If you read all this thread you'd know he spoke out against pro-IRA songs as Celtic manager. But let's not allow facts to get in the way eh? Quote
no balls Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I'd sooner dig Fred West up than have Neil Lennon. I sniggered Quote
mickbrown Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I sniggered Aye, me and all. And he's got the equipment for the job Quote
COYW Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Wim Jansen signed Henrik Larsson for Celtic... Quote
Smiffs Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Any reference to ditch digging was purely coincidental. Quote
Carlos Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Wim Jansen signed Henrik Larsson for Celtic... Gary Megson signed Gary Cahill for Bolton... Quote
Smiffs Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Anyway, I've spent far too much time over here on the normal bit. I'll be taking a flask and comfy shoes to Estonia in the morning if I don't get back to the deviant bit. Spunkgobblins. Quote
Whites man Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I just want the best man we can get, balls to the baggage. If digging up Fred West with Jimmy Saville coaching the youth gets results then I'll have them. Quote
