Sweep Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Keith hill is gartsides choice Allegedly From the list of possibilities, I think he might be my choice as well. Garrp championed him last time I think Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Keith Hill would be a disastrous appointment in my opinion. Quote
jayjay Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Keith Hill would do for me. Either him or Mowbray. Quote
superkev Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Keith Hill would be a disastrous appointment in my opinion. Why? Quote
COYW Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Keith Hill has already had one attempt at managing in the Championship and it didn't work out too well if i remember rightly. Quote

Exactly a 25% win rate with Barnsley is hardly an experienced and successful championship coach and with the greatest respect BWFC is far to big a club with too many problems for him to contemplate taking on at this stage of his career. Yes. They made the right decision getting rid of him. Quote
superkev Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I'm not saying I want Keith Hill but I'd expect every person we will interview will have had a wank time at one or more clubs hence why they are not working Quote
Carlos Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Anyone out there who knows who we want will be filling their boots at the bookies not blooning on the Internet. JSL. Quote
Guest Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I don't really get people turning their noses up at Keith Hill. He hardly was disastrous at Barnsley. They were a side headed for relegation at some point. Since he left they've gone downhill. There isn't a manager we can employ without issues. Mackay has a good record but will he be divisive and upset the apple cart like Freedman did? Certainly seems he might. It would be a huge risk. Hughton has had his ups and downs and isn't a big character. Brown was brilliant at Hull, less so at Derby. As John McGinlay said it isn't about win percentages or records it is about the right man to galvanise the club. That might not be the one with the most impressive record necessarily. Quote
Garrp Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 'lets not appoint him because he has a 25% win percentage' is ridiculous once again its people using a pointless stat that proves nothing What's better someone with a 25% win percentage for a team who has the lowest budget in the league or a manager with a 35% win percentage with one of the biggest budgets in the league. Casino Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 a good point been made any 'experienced' manager will have something in his record that 'proves' hes shit Quote
