  • If I thought he could get us back on track and challenging in this league again, I'd have Bin fucking Laden.   Getting precious about some fucking small time sectarian bullshit is a luxury we cannot

  • It's only seen as divisive by people who want to see it that way. What the fuck has he done wrong? Apart from stand up to the most vicious sectarian campaign of intimidation by people 'loyal' to somet

More I think about it the more attractive Phil Brown sounds. We need someone to galvanise the whole club.

Not too sure just yet about the browny bit, but by fook do we need someone to galvanise the whole club ????

Any odds on Mike Phelan?

Going off the current bookies favourites, I would like Mckay, but I can't see him coming, but stranger things have happened. I don't want Phil Brown, his managerial career has been pretty much a failure with the exception of Hull, but that failed in the end. Tony Mowbray would be an ideal candidate for us and he has the experience for what we need right now. His teams tend to play pretty decent football and his win percentage ratio is very good.

We need a manager who is strong enough to deal with players, that means experienced in my eyes.

Just get us playing to a system and sticking with it.

Not sure who we could attract given current position, there will be plenty chucking their hats in.

Any odds on Mike Phelan?

You can get 25/1 for him.

You can get 25/1 for him.

He's never been a manager has he? Experience should be top of any CV therefore Phelan a non starter, unless he brings Fergie with him. ????

Tony Mowbray would be my choice

I agree, too much of a gamble imo. Brian Kidd at Blackburn springs to mind. Great assistant but crap manager.

on tony mowbrays twitter page , a fulham fan last wednesday wrote that he was there for the bolton game. (mowbray , not the fulham fan) .

I see you have seen that Daily Star story. The one that says Jimmy Phillips is the caretaker and if he does well, he might get the job. So facts might be an issue.

Agree with Mounts, think we need an experienced face, not someone new to the role. But he will be keen to make his mark. Wasn't he lined up for the Wigan job at one point?

And the fact I was sat behind him yesterday so one never knows

In that case, there's probably about 13k candidates if being there is a criteria for being in the running. ;-)

Sounds too keen. Sack him off.

Scott fucking Green to be interviewed I've been told.

All for former players but bollocks to that, we need experience.

Reliable source as well :(

All over twitter too

Not having that.

But no matter who we get, most folk will be pissed off.

Is he still at Yeovil Town? He was running their centre of excellence

Important we get the right man for the job, but we need to act fast, if another manager gets potted this week then our chances of getting someone like my choice of mackay would reduce very quickly.

I suspect all serious applicants will get an interview, but means fuck all.

Mixu been linked this morning too. I'd take mobray with phelan as a number 2. Too many Manchester United assistants haven't really done much in management.

That's what you get when folk bang on about someone associated with the club.

First Coyle, then this.

Not that he will get it mind.

I dont want anybody who was perviously associated with the club unless its a proven manager.

We are not Newcastle FFS.

All the DF out folks faces if we get Scott Fucking Green - Megsonesque

IfGreen is being spoken to, it could be for the Academy as JP steps up to the first team.

Just a thought

I would think that's the case tbh, gartside has made some bad choices but no way Scott green

Anyone got odds for Scott Green. Heard something similar to birch.
