It's going to take a top manager to turn this round but it's doable whoever we get I hope to god he can drill a defence we've simply got to get clean sheets before we can start moving forward.

I agree, but do you think we'll be able to attract a "top manager" at present?

Anyway I thought the players got off very fucking lightly

An hour against ten men and just one lucky goal to show for it

Very very impressed with Hughes interview

I liked how he talks

Two weeks now to get it sorted

These players are living a charmed life and brum onwards the gloves are off

Oh aye if pratley was shit I'm struggling for the words for danns

Thought he came across very well on GMR. He said all the right things but this is a worrying slump we're in and we need someone who can come in and sort it out on day one. I'm not sure that person is someone we can afford or who would want it.

I'm hoping that we can play a reasonably settled team for the next 5 games so that players can get used to who there playing with and a settled formation we've never had that under Freedman, and think we need to get fitter we need to be able to play at a higher tempo and higher up the pitch try to exert more pressure on the opposition.

We are incredibly shite. End of

The players looked shit scared of taking any chances, maybe because 2 yrs of Freedman made them that way, but the gap between defence and the strikers today was huge and all they did was crowd it so we had to resort to long ball.

Davies looked fucked before the tackle, and Spearing can wave his arms around all day but at some point he has to start dictating play.

Thought Ream had a decent game at left back and Clayton put his foot in a couple of times when he came on. Agree that the game was screaming out for Feeney to come on as well.

The players are not good enough, we all know that and its going to take a manager with a lot of contacts and favours owed to build a new team capable of dragging us up the league.

IMO we are going down, but that may not be a bad thing if and only if we have a team capable of coming back up next season.

I can honestly say we are going down. Worst team I have seen wear the shirt

That's because you didn't go 82-92.

lap of applause for the players?

best be a wind up

Not that but they made an effort to go round together and show their appreciation to the fans that had backed them, I think it shows some commitment myself.

Not pretty, the players look shot to bits confidence wise. It was better in the early part than it had been but losing to a 10 man mid-table team at home stinks.

We need a new manager and very quickly too. We can still get out of this mess but we need points on the board and very soon.

Will be interesting to see who comes in but this re-building job is huge, Freedman had a massive job to do, it's now even bigger

That was shite but I'll reserve judgement until the new fella is in charge. Dervite is really growing on me and I think him and Ream at Centre half could be a decent combination of we decide to go down the possession football route.

Max Clayton looked tidy when he came on. That's about as much as I can say.

CYL, fucking hell, he does nothing defensivley, zero. Never beats a man, always looking for a simple pass, one chance to whip a ball in on 89 mins and the cunt pulls it back to the penalty spot. Shit.

Well said. It's going to take time, stick with this back four for me.

I'll go along with that. Mills pissed me off massively today, but would rather have Ream at LB than Moxey from what I've seen

Been like playing with 10 men since he came back from injury - totally agree shit

watch their first goal again

i have and fooking hell, he walks past ream, pratley and dervite

suppose thats what 3 million quid can buy you

That was hard work, try explaining to a alien that's what we pay for entertainment, for £28 I can get pissed stoned a blowjob and a curry on h/well rd

Sad to have to agree with this he never ever commits to beating the man he looks like playing his contract out, it's a crying shame but there no point in playing him simply not committed.

also, if hughes is as honest as he sounds, the new fella might be able to bring an assistant but the rest of the structure is solid and isnt going to be broken up

At least we'll win most weeks, plus there will be some cracking away trips as well

Some sage on here said those exact same words when it looked like we were going to get relegated from the Premiership. Look where that got us.

Does nothing productive going forward and a liability when we haven't the ball, exposes his full back all day. Only when they went down to 10 did their no2 not have the freedom to rampage forward whenever he felt like it. Having said that, Danns was as bad on the other side, never in the game going forward and stood watching as their lad went past him to thread the ball through for their second.

Couldn't fault the effort by and large today, Clayton showed some nice touches when he came on but overall all the failings laid bare and a big ask for whoever takes over to get us out of the bottom three by May

I guess the fact that the only game he's played well this season was at Chelsea backs this up.

Boy wants back to the Prem.

Out of interest; why are you so concerned?

Having reviewed the evidence, I hink that davidjack's real name is Peter Harrison, sometime football agent.

Yeah, you got me boltondiver. Well done.
