Totally agree how's this guy made it as a footballer, saw Lennon going mental at him, then shouting mavies over, for passin the ball back when he could of gone forward . Knew he was getting subbed .

Then m Davies come on , god what a difference! He's class and danns was superb too.

We won't often win the possession battle playing two up top unless the other team does. Pellegrini getting hugely criticised for persisting with 442. It's out of date

 

I actually think with chungy as number 10 and playing shorter from the back, we could play Mason up front on his own. As pointed out by Jules, his movement and runs are fantastic.

 

Great second half yesterday, we were tough (though a few times late) in the tackle, tempo was good and an enjoyable win. Thought Brentford were neat and tidy, good set pieces but couldn't take advantage of all their corners.

The problem might be when we come round to playing Watford, Forest, Derby, Boro, Wolves again, Lennon has quite a nice start fixture wise, which is great as it will increase positivity. I feel scraping top half may be realistic, let's hope you're right though

Agree with everything you've said; we will clearly get overrun in midfield by the top teams, but I think (and hope) that he's still trying things out and working out how to use what he's got

 

At times yesterday we got to the final 3rd and there wasn't enough space because of the way we played too, but I'm confident Lennon sees these things. That's the refreshing change!

Last paragraph is what we need week in week out we've had a soft centre for too long the odd crunching challenge makes players think twice we have allowed players to play round us for far too long, as Jonesy would say they don't like it up them and long may it continue.

Cheers mate. My dad took me to watch the Wanderers a couple of years before he took me to Ibrox for the first time.

I think he had the in laws' tickets rather than it being a choice

 

I go there because my Dad has never moved from where we were in the equivalent in Manny Road South.

 

And sitting next to my Dad at the game is worth all the atmosphere in any stand to me currently
