Local language is ace isn't it.

They say "going off" instead of "going on" here too. What's goin off here, duck? 😂

I was at uni with a Sheffield Utd fan- he always said "off".

He was odd though.

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

South Yorkshire is weird.

Totally different atmosphere at Everton tonight compared to other night.

Speaking of totally different, Kelly Cates looks like a different woman!

Solihull, Bromley or Altrincham in L2 next season by the way.

Need them to beat Hull to end their playoff hopes before we play them next week so they are bound to lose tonight .

Now want Hull to win to keep Norwich honest for last day at Brum.

Solihull for me

3 very unusual options though, like Sutton or Harrogate I suppose.

Altrincham come up and we stay down that might be a EFL Trophy group opponent!

Do we need any more tiny Greater Manchester clubs in the EFL? Suppose a decent option to send youngsters to, but that's it.

No we absolutely do not 😀

I'll take Altrincham for that reason

Bloody Hell, I've played there. It's right next to the Solihull Jaguar Land Rover plant.

Bromley would be a straight(ish) swap for Sutton I guess.

But I agree about Altrincham being 'yet another' small North West club clogging things up. I'd be happy to see them swap with Salford mind.

See Ian , better teams than us still fuck up trying to be Man City

Bayer Leverkusen with another very late 96th Min equaliser to remain unbeaten

And me. Away game on the tram from work. Although playing  game like that would feel the ultimate insult

Astounding season for them. I think they'll comfortably win the Pokal and probably the Europa League too?

VAR has to go.

Arsenal definitely aren't the fannies they've been for 20 years these days. Got a proper spine to the team

Obviously they'll fold and lose 4-3 in the second half now :D

said all along Spurs would fade after a bright start

can't hear the fans singing Angels now

went in way too early on that love in

There's some really shocking defending in the Premier Leagues these days.

Never known it as bad.

Pub league shite

Agreed about the defending, it all just seems so weak (Spurs/Liverpool etc).  Brighton the other day against City, OMG.  I know we all want to see goals but in a strange way it reduces the attraction because it feels less like a team has achieved something great when they score, it can look too easy/handed on a plate.

It seemed to change from the time Pep signed a keeper because he was good with his feet 😀 and that became fashionable.  It seems like simply not conceding has lost some of its appeal to modern managers.

Ultimately, so long as you score more than you concede, it doesn't matter.

How that's achieved is for individual managers and teams to sort out.

Dour, overly conservative play doesn't keep fans on the edge of their seats.

However, it's clearly a fashion for teams to play around at the back, which as we know sometimes results in a goal conceded.

City are now utilising a long ball more to compensate for teams pressing them, and no doubt it will become fashionable at some point to be a bit more defensive and use the longer ball again if it starts to work regularly.

Wait till you go to Hull

Brassiere scoring a 97th minute winner for Brest in a 5-4 win. Team work
