Shock result that. Full marks to the Greeks in executing a slick ambush. No one expected them to come out firing and Villa were 2-0 down before they'd even settled.

Not over as you'd expect a good PL side to be streets ahead of a Greek one but it's a mountain to climb. Possible but unlikely.

Leverkusen looking really good. I had a four timer on them winning the 3 trophies (League, Europa and Pokal) with City to win the PL. Getting interesting.

Sadly, only a couple of months back but still highly satisfactory compared to my usual odds on doubles through our punters club.

As you say, at the start of the season the odds would have been enormous. I suspected that City would be PL champions (yet to happen!) but not that Leverkusen would have such a great season. Could not have envisaged their complete dominance over Bayern but anticipated that they might win a cup somewhere and be in the top 3 at home.

If they win the Europa and City clinch the title, I am not expecting Kaiserslautern to present them with any problems in the Pokal.

It's thinking like this which catches you out!
