We do need to beat them really or I suspect it is just too much but if we do it will cause them to question themselves, they may find the answers, they may not but we need to keep them under pressure.
February 8Feb 8 If you look at form table over last 6 , us and Lincoln are top, with 16 points Last 10 we have 18, they have 26 ! Which is very impressive ! But it also shows how a bad couple of weeks can turn things upside down. Going into the Wigan game we had 2 points in 4 games , it is really that run that let the gap grow and Lincoln and Cardiff have jumped clear. But if either of them has a blip we have to be ready to step in, last time we were in a similar position, bit later in the season, we had a must win game at Derby , played well and lost ! The only real fact at moment is that if they keep up their current form top 2 will deservedly go up. Lincoln have not lost since November. But in this league strange shit happens.

It's farcical but the rules are the rules And that's the problem with VAR - they have to check the goals and if there's any infringment they can't then just choose to ignore it
February 8Feb 8 Imagine you have bet on that game Could have 1-2 and be delighted 1-3 or over 3 goals and be gutted ! It is alright Neville saying ‘just give the goal’ but the officials get marked on applying the rules properly so it ain’t their fault. The rules not allowing for 1% of common sense are the problem.
February 8Feb 8 Was absolutely the right decision. Why should the Liverpool player have avoided punishment for being thick enough to pull Haaland back when the game had seconds left? Could have at least swiped his legs like that Solskjaer one years ago. And likewise why should City have got a goal when Haaland was thick enough to pull him back as well instead of knocking it in when he had the chance or even just standing his ground without fouling? And surely City being denied a goal and a Liverpool player getting the most pointless ban in history is huge comedy value for the rest of us?

If Haaland doesnt pull the liverpool player back, the ball doesnt go in, and its a red. If the ball went in, without Haaland pulling him back, its a goal and no red. Its unseemly, but its the only, and the correct, decision.
