I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Northern Shithouse... Not you like

Can Northern Fail not put their employees on permanent strike and replace them with people who want to work. Failing that, revoke their licence to operate. They are a disgrace and deserve to go bust making everyone redundant in the process

Would like to know how many matchday Saturdays in last 4 or 5 years they've actually been running.

Dennis Politic starting for Salford in FA Cup replay, BtSport1

I've got a feeling we're on for a really good third round draw, us.

Read that 19 of Leeds' games last season were moved for tv

Can see why they are pissed off as what they get in compensation doesn't cover the fall in gate receipts

when disabled person wants to get on a train at an unmanned station , who puts the ramp down , then puts it away.?

when a fare dodger gets on a train , who is going to challenge/ report them ?

who will potentially diffuse a situation on the train ?

joe public, i think not , like asking people to help the police when in a sticky situation , never going to happen.

however there will be loads of video posted on "social media" about it . #furious

First one I'll give you. However they should have designed trains doors and platform edges to be the same height. Works in Germany and on the tube.

Second and third one... No fucker asks for tickets on trains at rush hour because you can't move. It'd be the same for busy match day trains. They leave it for the militants at the station barrier to deal with.

There is no way anyone who gets a train regular from Horwich / Bolton to Manc has anything positive to say about the operators of these services. They are cunts!

There's plenty of tube stations where there's no level access from the train to the platform

You have a point sir.

22k on at Ipswich v WBA tonight. Not bad considering a 10 mile radius around the ground has pretty much got the town centre and farms/villages. OK, they haven't got the number of neighbouring clubs we have but that crowd for a night game on telly seems a great effort.

£10 a ticket but yes great effort

We've had £10 ticket games and not added 10k to the crowd.
