The owners aren't clueless.They  are making fantastic money out of the country's most popular club.They don't need the football team to win things to make  fantastic money.They could maybe sell the club to a foreign state like City or Newcastle have for one huge final pay day but there's no great motivation to do that when the money being made is so good now.

 

Running on history wont last forever.

Once that share price plummets if they dont make top 4 the shit will start hitting the fan.

City were hawking their tickets on the student discount sites at £10 a head v Fulham the same weekend

What makes an owner “foreign”? Is it not having white skin? Is it not speaking English as a first language? 
I’m confused as to why Middle Eastern or Russian oil money becomes foreign but American money is ok and not foreign.

I didn't mention city.

The Glazers financial 'success' relies soley on the stock market. When they signed Ronaldo or Jose the price flew up and they sold a shit load.

That share price will plummet if they dont make top 4.

Their gate receipts will barely cover Ronaldos wage bill.
