I don’t mind the way Wigan have done things this year, they’ve built their foundations on quick sand.

Sure, they’ve signed the best of L1 who are all in or past their prime. Their squad needs ripping up and starting again to do anything in the championship.

Johnny Foreigner will soon get pissed off at having to find £20m a year to be able to tempt players to join their tinpot club over genuine championship sides like Preston or Rovers

Tbf, they’ve got some good results this season, but like you say, there’s a lot of them in their final year of their contracts.

They’ll not stay there if they’re any good.
