Hard to judge PNE against opposition like Spurs rather than a league game. Particularly when you consider when we played Villa in the League Cup this season and they looked like they were on another planet. In truth it’s probably the most distorted league in the world in terms of resources when you look at the promoted teams versus those that come down from the Prem so would take a hell of an effort just to stay up.

That not withstanding I thought they were dull. Didn't really put Spurs under much pressure.

I thought they may have had a go but lacked creativity, threat and any belief.

Sunderland had a right go at Fulham.

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Preston would love at go at just staying up!

Just checked the table and amazed to find they’re only two points away from the play offs!

What a waste of talent that lad's been.

I remember Sam muttering that he pondered him as a long term replacement for Davies.

He was 18 and barely kicked a ball when big Sam left us so not sure that adds up

When Sam took over at Newcastle he sent him out on loan to pne for six months so barely managed him whilst there

He was obviously a fan though having signed him for west ham

Lincoln drawn 11 of 13 home games, ridiculous.

Morecambe turning their season around. Last 8 home games, won 5 drawn 3 (including games v Derby, Pompey & Barnsley) and scored 14 in last 4,

Burton beating Oxford was a coupon buster given respective recent form.

Starting to look like top eight will pull away when games in hand get played

Have they changed their manager or something?

Yep, but he had made the remark.

How long have halftime manager interviews been a thing?

Admittedly I don't pay much attention to this kind of stuff.

Depends upon the the interviewer's tit size.

Brighton v Liverpool.

Scouse Shite are lucky not to be down to 9 players. We'll, I say "lucky", what I mean is 'typical big club bias'.

Out of class, out of ideas. A team on the slide. Long may it continue.

Liverpool now out. Good.

I'm not sure but I'm not really keen on it

Some bad challenges from Liverpool players

Some proper dodgy decisions in that game. Which is a reoccurring theme in games involving Liverpool.

The pundit just called out the VAR ref for not making the studs-on-Achilles foul a red.

I remember Peter Reid for City being interviewed during the game!

Not to mention Konate or whatever he's called

Robertson's looked dodgy as well

Cleaned him out

They should've interviewed his assistant Bobby Saxton instead. 😁

Not half. The rake down the achilles was a shocker and he knew it. Virtually saying to his team mate that he thought he might be off. Justice was done however.

Just got a close up view of the stand behind the goal at the Wrexham game.

Kinell, instantly transported back, and my tummy turned. A feeling still never beaten, and I reckon the fat bloke is still in orbit.
