I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

I thought that but thinking didn’t they qualify when English clubs got banned?

Last twelve I can find a form table for

1. Weds 28

2. Derby 26

3. Argyle 23

6. Bolton 20

7. Ipswich 18

We'll see.

I'd go with similar to that.

Lot of games in hand with teams below us and not many point difference.

Key factor being we've got em on the board already.

So fuck em

Sure they've had 3 or 4 campaigns. Before football was invented though of course

Zico just checked

yeah a tad awkward Saturday😀

Certainly early 70s

Did they beat madrid 4 nil at home and go out away

Very dodgy ref

Clough may have had a quiet moan

4 1 at home and lost

Though seems like derby had  a friendly ref first leg

Not forgetting a 2-1 loss to Juventus when the Agnelli's were even more adept at bribing referees. The greatest manager of all time did not hold back.

Checking out adam senior at fax, he lost, i see george taft was on the opposition

Another evatt faux pas letting him go

I am happy that newly monied Newcastle won't be be getting an easy final to buy a first trophy since the 1960s.In fact thye'll be playing a much better supported club that has a larger  budget even allowing for the Geordies being gifted £200 million of Arab oil money.

There is no bitterness here at all, I think it is wonderful what Arteta is doing for Arsenal,  the correct way, on a self generated budget

Jacob Butterfield, too.

Watching the Derby-Real footage: glad to see that the officiating wasn't exactly so good then neither.

How the heck was the Spaniards' goal was disallowed for offside?

Very creative tbf
