Aldo Raine said: As does Neil Warnock it seems The perfect type of manager for a short term fix - maybe a bit harsh without knowing for sure but I’d imagine their training methods and tactics are now ‘outdated’, if you’re looking to build a long term project (pretty much like we are). However, they’re the type that have unreal man management skills, probably due to all the experience, and will get the players they have available running through brick walls for them - so if you’ve got 10 games left to survive then they’re ideal. Compare that to someone like Ainsworth, who going off the videos doing the rounds making all his players dance around with tribal warriors is trying way too hard and making a tit out of himself / the players (and hence fast becoming relegation fodder) and you can see why those types of appointments are made. They scored in the time added on after the police dog bit a Gull player while holding back fans encroaching onto pitch side to save themselves from relegation. I live in the village he's said to be buying in & there's a bit of an "I wonder which house" frenzy going on. It is, despite me, a nice place.
