The one undisputed positive of VAR is that it eradicated penalties given for outrageous dives overnight

I'm still glad we're not involved with it, though

True, conversely, some bizarre decisions of penalties given. Wolves have had 2 shockers given against them on consecutive weekends.

In part because of inconclusive angles and also because of an individual's personal view.

Which it was supposed to remove. So yes, it's done some good but also some headscratchers.

Barry Knight, The Everton goal, Galanza etc etc are all part of our history and another tale to tell.

Every club will have the same tales of woe.

Human error is part of what makes our game so impulsive and tribalistic.

Why do we have this quest to make some kind of utopian perfect game with no mistakes?

My view entirely.

Mistakes happen, live with them. Otherwise that level of the sport is totally unlike any other. Certainly nothing like grass roots game every single player has come through.

I said it previously but this is all the doing of uncontrolled whinging & whining from managers & media, TV especially, who them analysed things to death. It's fckg cheeky of them to do all that yet also complain about VAR.

It's certainly not being operated as advertised.

Lampard telling people he wanted to sign Bellingham from Birmingham 😂😂😂

That's up there with Allardyce signing E'too, Drogba & Rivaldo.

Wasn't a pen no

Game at the top level is absolutely fucked

Well done ref.

Two tricky calls that many a weaker ref wouldn't have got right.
