Northampton been going well too. Not over yet, but if they win, it will have been hard earned.

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

If they win today that’s a great response to the 4-0 home defeat with 2 away wins.

Cant see them not finishing top 2.

Apparently Portsmouth do shit on sky

hopefully that continues

Jeez. Are the FA going to investigate bribes & fixing ?

I’d be looking at the linesman as well for the third. How offside was he?

Always worth a punt on Ashley Young getting sent off. Looks an absolute liability every game I watch him

Come on Forest

That was a pen

Forest are fucking awful.

They were proper faffing about with it with no urgency.

Starting to turn a bit there.

Miley looks like he's going to be a bit of a player.

This huge atmosphere and loads of pressure Newcastle are putting on has got 0-1 written all over it

Newcastle are everything United arent.

So good to watch.

Gordon is on fire, grafts his balls off too. He deserved to be in the last England Squad ahead of Rashford and Grealish who've done sweet fuck all this season.

Grealish been injured a lot of it tbf. Hes still fucking light-years ahead of Rashford.

Gordon needs to be in the next sqaud 100%

Interesting comments from Graeme Souness on Grealish yesterday. -  doesn't get his final ball out quick enough, shows no intent to get past a defender, wouldn't have got in any of the Liverpool teams Souness played in, Liverpool wouldn't have accepted how many touches he took, slows the team down too much. Overpriced because he is English, Doku is a more dangerous player for half the fee

I agree to an extent about Grealish. He came on leaps and bounds last season, but perhaps sussed out a touch now?

Simply doesn't make enough happen quickly enough. Maybe better having a go on the other side, who knows.

As for Rashford, fuck me, I don't think I've seen a more disinterested player for a long time. Motd did a review of where Newcastle destroyed them, and the bloke's body language was simply atrocious. Shrugging his shoulders, jogging about etc.

He'll probably score a worldy soon, and everyone will be wanking themselves over it, and all will be well again.

Hundreds of thousands a week for not doing his job.

I hope Southgate was watching and has a word, as there is no way a sulky professional should he doing to Germany with the squad.

I'd be in that camp too, a good player but always looks overrated when talked about as a top 4/international level player.  Seems to stroll through games not making a lot happen, just looking to not lose possession, rarely breaks into a run or plays the quick incisive pass.  Not at the level of a Maddison who couldn't get in the squad for many years (I know its slightly different positions but comparison still stands).

Yet there they are, above your beloved United.

Would you swap him for Rashford?

Thats the way hes been told to ffs.

Hes there for ball retention, cut inside and lay off midfielders.

Hes doing what Pep tells him to and it worked a treat last season with silva and kdb on the inside.

It took Pep a year to mould him in to that position from the free role he played at Villa.

Peps tweeking it this season with Doku and a more direct way. He tweeks it every season.

Really baffles me how people who are meant to know the game cant see this.

There really is something going on in Rashford's head. I was never really convinced about him then, last season, he really got it together & I had to eat my words. This season however he's gone backwards and some.

Definitely doesn't want to be there. Whether it's the club, his colleagues, fitness or something home based he's robbing his considerable living right now.

Ian Wright dressed for football at 1 and a moon landing at 3 😀
