HomerJay Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 That's a red card. Free kick on the defender for me . Oscar didn't go for the ball Quote
anewman Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 That's a red card. City are the new united, ref won't give them now Quote
Didledee Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) Wrong again Dids. Last man and would have been clean through, even if it was a foul the other way, the ref gave the defender a yellow card, Edited February 3, 2014 by Didledee Quote
Spider Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 12 month prior a good chairman would of thrashed out a deal with a centre half with a big England future and had a massive release clause in it OR Cahill could have seen out his contract and gone for fuck all On the other hand, if we hadn't broken the enigma codes we'd all be speaking German now. Spider Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Chelsea by 1 goal. The council house to have less atmosphere than a road accident Need to start putting money on my skills Quote
Zulu Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Last man and would have been clean through, even if it was a foul the other way, the ref gave the defender a yellow card, Stop making Laws up Dids. That's Andy Gray's job. Last man has nothing to do with it. The Law talks about denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity, if I've got the words correct. The offence took place on the halfway line ffs. Yellow card right decision. Quote
Didledee Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Great game, Chelsea brilliant, Cahill, Willian and Hazard were so impressive. Quote
bwfc87 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Jose really is a top manager Plus ivanovic is in my fantasy footy team Quote

Commentators agreed with me and he would have been 1 on 1 with Joe Hart = goalscoring opportunity, regardless of distance to goal, so no I'm not making laws up, just watching the game. Do you think he would have fell over, cleared it or maybe run towards the corner flag when 1 on 1? nope he'd have gone straight at goal. Edited February 3, 2014 by Didledee Quote
Carlos Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Are commentators qualified referees these days? Quote

DomRepWanderer Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Remember us getting a straight red against Spurs for a lot less than that one. Quote
Zulu Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 The commentators agreed with you. Well, fuck me you must be right then. You really do post some shite son. :-) Quote
bwfc87 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Cahill got a red at spurs That was fucking joke that decision. Was that the one we appealed and they added a game because they said it was frivolous appeal? Quote
Didledee Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 The commentators agreed with you. Well, fuck me you must be right then. You really do post some shite son. :-) Okay forget the commentator thing, just saying I'm not alone in thinking it was a red card. It was last man and a goalscoring opportunity = red card. Quote
Zulu Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Remember us getting a straight red against Spurs for a lot less than that one. Yes I was there that day. I thought it was a shit decision, as did the two Spuds fans that I went with. I reckon Dean got it right tonight. Quote
Zulu Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Cahill got a red at spurs Yep. Shit decision that. Quote
Zulu Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Okay forget the commentator thing, just saying I'm not alone in thinking it was a red card. It was last man and a goalscoring opportunity = red card. Read this slowly. Allow your lips to move whilst reading. 'Last man' has nothing to do with it. Now stop being a silly lad. Quote

Their is a difference between a "goal scoring opportunity" which it may well have been and an "obvious goalscoring opportunity", which it was not. Quote
gonzo Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I love Jose. Best tactician ive seen in my lifetime. Time after time he outwits fellow top rated managers. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I love Jose. Best tactician ive seen in my lifetime. Time after time he outwits fellow top rated managers. Agreed. If I didn't support a team (like those you come across now again) , I'd just support whichever team Jose was managing at the time. Quote
Spider Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 (edited) No Balls has just text me, she says she'll be along to comment on Jose just as soon as she's finished mopping up. Edited February 3, 2014 by Spider Quote
