Zico Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Brilliant Well done Palace, fully deserved, good team and manager Now just need City to finish sixth Quote
jmjhb Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Whoever is doing the Wembley scoreboard messages got a bit excited WINNNERS 2025 You had one job ffs Quote
ZiggyStardust Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Dougie will be proud that the team he put together has dominated without the ball. Quote
MancWanderer Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Great result. Hopefully the death knell for Pep ball. Chuffed to bits for Palace to finally win something Absolutely gutted for my grandson. Was buzzing all week about going to Wembley. 9 years old. Poor kid. Welcome to football sunshine Quote

She said why are they just passing it around the edge of the box all the time? So then had to then explain Evatt and the sideways and backwards song. Quote

Lt. Aldo Raine Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Is that another English club in Europe now or does another club (maybe Forest) miss out? Quote

Terrible second half. Wide men not going wide but cutting back. No variation in play, and why wouldn't anybody have a shot? Crap. Quote

A pity they didn't just show the fans celebrating/crying/overcome for about 20 minutes. We probably saw about 0.1% of them close up, I could have watched that for a lot longer, but no we had to see Pep walking across the pitch. Anyway a great day for the FA Cup, team and its fans absolutely buzzing and genuinely emotional. Quote

Which is faintly ridiculous Which means there will be plenty of Saturdays when there are virtually no Saturday Prem games, and loads on Sundays. Back to Palace, when you think of how long teams wait to win at Wembley, they've just been twice in 3 weeks as underdogs and had 2 momentous, historic wins, scoring 4 goals without conceding and saving a pen too. And back home to their local pubs 2 hours later to celebrate again. Lucky bastards. Quote

gonzo Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Read this week Nat Phillips daughter is with Liam Gallaghers daughter. Imagine predicting that in 1994 when Jimmy was smashing that 30 yarder in v Wolves. Quote
