I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Shit final, ace result, nothing more to say

Get in Spurs, but what a shit game. Orient v Stockport where better games!

I heard that this was worth upwards of £100m and whilst important to both it was fckg vital Stretford got it.

Oh dear, oh dear.

Well Chuffed for Big Ange.

Looking forward to Drive on TS tomorrow :D

May as well cancel that BBQ :D

Does anyone know if Spurs qualify for the actual Champions League, or do they still do that qualification play off that the 4th or 5th placed team normally to go into?  The one that Celtic or Rangers always lose in.

Because if they have to play another team to get in the champs league they could still end up in back in Europa unless they improve a lot over the summer.

Anyway, no European football to prop up United's season next year, great news.  They've become even less relevant tonight.

I like Ange. This is probably the most satisfying result of the season.

Roflbrothel

What a fittingly abysmal final.

At least the result was good

I thought they were going to scab an equaliser - such a shame …..

Liverpool, City and United all losing major finals in the same season to teams they should be beating.

On a smaller scale Brum losing to Posh (in a "minor" final).

A good advert for the unpredictability of cup footy.

All 4 defeats were in the "didn't turn up" category, not like they lost out in entertaining memorable games.

Not sure United got beat by a team they should have beat. Spurs have beat them 4 times this season.

They are both shit, joint bottom of the form league with 1 point each in last 6. They did not turn up because they are awful. Only 1 point between them just above the relegation places.

It is a wonderful result United are 44 points behind Liverpool, 27 off a Champs League spot and they as likely to go backwards as forwards next season.

Fucking loved that.

Me too. Was a legend at Celtic and there’s nobody better at handling bullshit media questions.
That said he’d have looked a prick if Spuds had lost tonight - but the man exudes confidence in his own ability to make it work. And TBF he does.

Levy might still sack him though.

I watched The 1% Club on ITV2, I can't watch that lot, can't stand everything about em

Shite spectacle, shite goal, shite game, wonderful result.

One down side for myself and Perth White is that we will be hearing about "the all conquering Aussie super coach" until such time as Spurs are struggling again next season - that's if Levy doesn't wield the axe on his trophy winning coach. Could see Ange turning up at Panathinaikos or AEK or similar.

A down side but as you suggest a minor one, I don't see too much coverage of him but he does get more attention than most. Happy to see United lose.

Year of the bird.

Magpies, Eagle, Liver and Cockerel.

Let's hope that trend continues into next season for us then 😉

They get in, and I might be mistaken, but they are seeded in pot one.

I thought Ten Hag was good, but this guy is a Messiah. He will surely be pushing for relegation next season, and lets hope the board back him then he can sign even shitter players!
