I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Dunno if anyone's watching this Copa Libertadores final on BBC3 but how that lad has stayed on the pitch after that kick I dont know

This stadium in Lima is mad as well

Managed a couple of minutes then realised we best take advantage of a rare outing of the EFL highlights show

I like to watch that the day after so I can fast forward through the adverts which condenses it into about an hour.

I do the same with Trans Euro on Talksport, 3 hour show and there's barely an hour and a half of actual chat when you cut out ads and news!

That’s normally the plan, but no such luxuries in the Spark by Hilton

Yep. Love South American football.

Eagerly await the Apertura (and currently Clausura) highlights show every week.

I'm quite happy to watch highlights of it, but I find full games to be a bit of a challenge with South American stuff. They make modern Premier League games look free flowing.

Red all day

Another pitch full of toss pieces wearing bandages on their wrists, football is an absolute fucking circus nowadays

No... with them it could be anything from an incredible goal to some mad crowd scenes to a 40 man on pitch brawl 😂

NFL games have less stoppages than this gash.

Hope he didn't hurt his head scoring that one.

They don't seem the sort that you'd want to be upsetting 😀

Their passion for the great game is unmatched.

How can anybody not love football? Loads of 'em down here.

Immense win for Napoli. Shaping up for a four team battle now Milan and Roma are showing something.

I bet they dont take tops off bottles in the F-Side.

Cordite mean a closed end there for a game or two?

Might be on for a few closed doors games. It was a memorial for a couple of their group who died recently, the club warned them not to do it in advance and they did it anyway. Rest of match to be played in an empty stadium on Tuesday morning

When I was a kid we'd play war games, shooting each other with imaginary guns. For the woke amongst us we called it 'Japs & English'.

A 'best dead' competition would be included for the kid who died in the most dramatic way.

It seems Chelsea have revived that.

We've all seen diving & flopping about increase for decades but this season's Chelsea have taken it to new lows, developing a 'fish out of water' technique on full desplay yesterday. So much so that it's clear they must practice it in training.
