I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Come back when you can do it twice in the same game.   Rip paul comstive

don't be fooled by the commentator saying "its gone straight in"

it comes off the keeper, you can see how it changes direction based on where it hits the side netting at the other side

which is why it's officially been credited as an own goal for the keeper

and it's why they are saying "we're still giving you the goal", because it was an own goal

You're probably right. Not really arsed either way.

Liverpool are the biggest laughing stock in Europe

I was fortunate enough to be in the Anfield row stand in a heated seat. front row of the upper tier right in line with the penalty spot. That 4th was absolutely magnificent. They are so bad at the back

Both in our league these two seasons ago.

Mad that one has been to the prem already.

It's why I think we will keep our record of playing in the top flight in every decade since it's Inception

We twatted Ipswich not to long ago

Sunderland too and look at them now

On the other hand Carlisle twatted us and now they are non league

How long has Ashley Young been at Ipswich :D

He put in one of the best performances I've seen at our place from an away player in his villa days

Or maybe it was just a good goal

He was definitely a pain in our arse when we faced them

Always rated him since

State of this defending here :D

Just had Sky on, they showed championship goals from last night and 1st half goals in 12.30 KOs.

Ipswich corner to unmarked player, volleys it in effortlessly.  Stoke corner, headed out to Thomas who volleys it in easily; Sheff U corner cleared to edge of box, unmarked player hits a slow shot that bobbles into the corner; a few minutes later, another corner, Leicester helpfully head it out to unmarked player, volleys it into the corner.  All goals easier with the keeper being partly unsighted due to 20 odd players crowding in front of him.

I wonder how many hours are spent on the training ground perfecting defensive strategies.

Less than passing it out from the back, and they still manage to fuck that up

Yeah, that's my other favourite tactic.  Ipswich presented Oxford's 1st goal with the classic faffing around for no apparent reason.

Stockport trying to get back into this but so far it’s been a Luca Connell midfield masterclass so Challinor has his lads bypassing the midfield. Can’t believe Luca is still only 24 - he’s playing like a seasoned international.

Barnsley currently ahead of us in 6th despite only playing 15 games including this.

Could do with a late Stockport equaliser as I don’t want either team to get 3 points.

Randall Williams just scored for reading at Blackpool 0-3 evatts doing well

Well taken volleyed strike.

For some reason Barnsley took off a midfielder and put McGoldrick on when they were ahead and handed Stockport the initiative.

Barnsley played for 1-0 Stockport deserved the draw not impressed with either team tbh.

Good first result of the day in the one we wanted a draw in. Now for Wigan and others to do us favours...

Don’t see how putting on McGoldrick would help them get a draw though. If it had been someone pacy, maybe that would have kept them honest at the back but I’d have gone for an extra midfielder if I was defending a lead, not playing with one less.

Great result… and a nice one for different reasons in the other early kick off!

Marvellous.  The bounce didn't last long.

... & good for Randall W.

That Leicester-Sheff Utd game was quite interesting. Every stat in the world apart from the one that mattered reckoned Leicester were the better team and yet they got DICKED. Sheff Utd looked like they’d score every time they went forward. Second half and nobody would have batted an eyelid at 3-3.

Spurs playing like Pulis Stoke 🤣

Dunno if anyone's watching this Copa Libertadores final on BBC3 but how that lad has stayed on the pitch after that kick I dont know

This stadium in Lima is mad as well
