Fulham almost  have a mad comeback like us vs Chelsea (3-4),  cleared off the line last minute to almost go 5-5 from 5-1 down v City

Seems a common thing to try and downplay the Leeds crowd and stuff. I'm guilty of it myself.

But christ they have some proper support.

The whole ground is permanently stood up and all singing throughout. All proper songs as well. None of these fancy lyrics.

Sounds like a backwards hell hole.

Probably the best support in the 92, for their numbers and sheer passion.

And you won't see tourists and fans going through the motions half heartedly clapping a goal like you see at City, Liverpool etc.  It helps that they have an old atmospheric stadium that isn't an identikit like the new one's too.

Not having it with Leeds. Never mind a one club city, they’ve got virtually the whole of Yorkshire to themselves and they had no fucker there until they started doing well again.

I was mainly referring to their type of support and the atmosphere they generate.  Struggling to think of a better one, but I've no reason to stick up for them, if there's a consistently better atmosphere in England fair enough but not sure where off top of my head.

Fair play to them.

Stick to one (cheesy) anthem and four other simple chants everyone joins in with.

Their crazy corner yoof indulgence in a bit of a bit of the bollox banter chants most clubs have fallen into.

When England decided to play a few games away from Wembley, Elland Road was by far the loudest. Should start doing it again because Tuchel was spot on about the Wembley atmosphere, it’s dire.

Play at smaller grounds and ban women & kids.

well definitely not south yorkshire

but pretty much the rest

loads of leeds in north & east yorkshire/hull

bradford and huddersfield might have a thing or two to say about west yorkshire

they did take 50,000 to a friendly in dublin though

They’ve plenty of South Yorkshire, too. Don’t forget The Howard is reputedly a Leeds pub.
