I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Games gone

Scandalous

worlds gone mad

Funny that if it was done to an opposition player they'd have been rolling around screaming.

Defender makes a great block, team mate grabs him by the face with both hands to celebrate when he gets up… not even a consideration of a card.

Where’s the line when it’s your own player?

Farce. Another example of zero common sense being shown. Rule book might say one thing but anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that it’s not worth ruining the game for.

5 mins before the Everton centre half lashed out at Zirkee or whatever he’s called and nothing. Then a red for that. Someone make it make sense

Get in!

I thought United were back?

United might go onto win this, and somehow they’ve made it up the league a bit, but whenever I watch them they just look really really shit.

If Everton had a proper striker they'd be a proper outfit.

Not sure I’d swap Burstow for either team’s striker, genuinely. Both complete garbage

Seems like they take one step forward and two back all the time and have done for years. Its great. Such a collection of average players.

Its all winding up for a second Everton goal on the counter this.

That Everton sending off seems a bit harsh. Bet Moyes is raging.

Was hardly Dyer and Bowyer

You'd get a red if it was an opponent and the rules don't differentiate between your own player or not

So in that sense seems reasonable

Who is Barry for Everton?

I can see why he sent him off but think he could have just booked him. Moyes might have had to sub him off anyway if his head had gone.

Why's he play in tights anyway?

Barry seems to be a bit of a stump to me in the Everton games I've seen, but that headers won stat was decent for him.

We're closing in on "This is Manchester United football club" territory again.

Its very "games gone" this, but its pretty weird to watch.

Suppose they needed someone to replace Calvert-Lewin

If Stretford had won they'd have gone 5th. Despite being dog-shite.

How the fck did they lose v 10 men, for 80+ minutes, at home ?

They have a one trick pony who cannot alter a game and wont change midgame.......Where have i seen that before

Can I refresh your memory on the "We are a brand name, not a football club" debacle?

United lapsed back into the half arsed, passive, shambling outfit they've been for a while now, Everton were brilliant in holding out without a great deal of drama. If they'd kept 11 on all game they'd have won comfortably.

Amorim is another system nerd, his explanation afterwards of why they'd struggled was incomprehensible. United fans want more than that.

Pickford pulled off a couple of cracking saves, the one from the header in particular

Huddersfield and Stevenage could both move above us in the table tonight so hopefully both will lose - can’t see it but who knows in this league?

Even if Stevenage lose they’ll still have another game in hand on us to do it and Barnsley have two games in hand but as folk keep saying, it’s points on the board that matter.

At least Luton are playing tonight so hopefully that will take something out of them before Saturday.

The B team won 2-0 Notts County.......Gale cut in from 25 yards to put it in the top Corner and a McAtee Penalty

Very strong B team Firino only lasted 20mins and went off with a mouth injury

Only going off the report that has just been posted
