Thought there was a ref at the weekend who was down to do the Spurs game but they replaced him as he's from Leicester

Why is (Malc?) Arsenal v West Brom on a Thursday?

 

As has been mentioned, Arsenal had previous and following fixtures Sunday/Sunday.

West Brom's equivalent was Saturday/Monday, so for both teams Wednesday and Thursday are equally positioned.

There are several matches tonight, one of which is on Sky.

So playing tomorrow makes it a possibility for Sky who are showing it.

It may or may not be coincidence that BT are showing Arsenal Ladies v Chelsea Ladies, which overlaps a little.

He isn't actually as Leicester fan, just attended a few of their games which upset some supporters, so they swapped him. Fair enough I suppose. He's actually a Bristol city fan; which isn't.

I was ridiculed at the time for saying it but my thoughts then remain to this day.

Money and overindulgence has totally fucked up football.

 

For the smaller clubs like ours, it is basically about survival and jejune bravado.

He's not throwing money blindly at players and staff.

 

He's building a football club from the bottom up.

 

In ten years I reckon they will be probably where they are now. A fully established self sufficient football league club.

 

He drinks in my local and is probably the most grounded millionaire your ever likely to meet.

 

You won't be seeing agents in cahoots with chairmen raping the club for over a decade like at our gaff.
